Thousands of protesters burned Israeli flags in Morocco and protested the presence of an Israeli diplomat, threatening his safety.
Thousands of protesters marched in the Moroccan capital of Rabat on Monday, torching Israeli flags and protesting the presence of diplomat David Saranga. The Israeli official was in town to attend a meeting of the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership (EUROMED) at the Moroccan parliament.
However, he was quietly escorted out a side door of the building for his own safety after the meeting, when protesters stormed the building. He was swiftly placed in a car and taken to the airport under heavy security, Hebrew-language media reported. The country's ruling party had publicly boycotted the meeting, whipping lawmakers and the populace into frenzy of hate.
Israel's leadership has been preparing for the possibility that it may become necessary to evacuate Jewish residents of neighboring Arab nations to safety. The decision has come in the wake of escalating anti-Jewish and anti-Israel sentiment in some of those countries over the course of the past year's Arab Spring uprisings, during which numerous secular governments -- albeit dictatorships -- were replaced with far more Islamist regimes.

For the life of me I can’t understand what people have against Jews.
They seem like nice people who mostly keep to themselves, I just don’t get all the hate.
I don't get it either, but wasn't this predicted in the Bible? Muslims hate Christians as well.
We don’t get it either.
Hatred of Jews or Blacks or Whites is learned behavior. Infants are not born with an innate hatred of people of another color or religion. They learn to hate through their parents or their community.
by why would anyone go out of their way to teach someone to hate jews? I just don't get it.
has a group of jews ever started a riot at McDonalds? nope
are jews disproportately inclined to be criminals? nope
are our schools being invaded by jews who seem intent on making criminals out of our children? nope
are jews a drag on the social safety net? nope
are jews lazy or dishonest in general? nope
are jews blowing up planes and cutting peoples heads off? nope
is the site of a jew nearby when your alone at night send shivers down anyones spine? nope
does anyone check their wallet when a jew bumps into them? nope
heck, I honestly can't think of a single thing bad about Jews or that could upset anyone about them with the exception of the Palestine issue. But that can't be it, because this irrational hatred of Jews goes back 100’s, heck 1,000’s of years.
Right, it is generational, passed on from generation to generation.

I have a theory about anti-semitism, which is JUST my humble opinion, but might provide some insight after reading your excellent post.
The Jewish People have given us (by God, through Moses) The Torah, or the Law. The Ten Commandments are quite specific about what is and what is NOT moral and ethical behavior. Another Jew, Jesus of Nazareth, Gave us a brisk condensation of the Law..”Love God and love a your neighbor as yourself. Then St Paul (Yet ANOTHER Jew) writes that no adherence to law will get us to God, but that ALL have sinned and fall short, and must rely upon the Grace of God to save us. This is completely contrary to human nature, and so it is quite “human’ to despise the bearer of this difficult message.
The Law and the Grace of God BOTH expose everything that is dark and evil in the human heart. When you shine a light, evil scurries away, and hates the Light. Thus, the average sinner HATES JEWS because the Torah shines a light that lays their dark and evil heart bare. Islam is a PARODY of The Holy Bible, and expresses an antithetical view of history, religion, and the nature of man. So, naturally, Islam fosters hatred against the bearers of Truth.
Just a theory of mine. It makes sense to me.
I live my life in a very old testament manner even though I am a Christian and believe I am saved through faith and grace, I still feel an obligation to be the best person I can be under the law. Thus, I sort of respect Jews and how they live their lives (or should).
I certainly don't hate or despise them for trying to be the best people they can be while here on earth.
The difference between Law and Grace is one that sincere Christians of all denominations have wrestled with for 20 Centuries. However, it can be be boiled down to two things...”If you love Me, Obey My Commandments”, and “We love Him because He first loved us!”
Too bad more Christians aren’t aware of the very Hebrew origins of their Faith, like you are! :-)
God Bless You.
