The man who shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, setting off a nationwide outpouring of anger, told police that Martin knocked him down with a single punch and slammed his head into the sidewalk several times — an account that police said witnesses have corroborated, according to The Orlando Sentinel

Even the MSM is beginning to reort on how the case against Zimmerman is eroding. Of course, that great Fox "journalist," Shep Smith hasn't said a word about it.

Meanwhile, the Smoking Gun, a website that tracks criminal cases and document filings, reported Monday afternoon that Martin's mother, Sabrina Fulton, filed two applications last week for trademarks on her late son's name.

Fulton is seeking marks for the phrases "I Am Trayvon" and "Justice for Trayvon," according to filings with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. In both instances, Fulton is seeking the trademarks for use on "Digital materials, namely, CDs and DVDs featuring Trayvon Martin," and other products.

Of course, there's no profit motive involved in hyping this whole thing and lynching Zimmerman.

Has ANY news organization managed to track down even a single photo of Trayvon Martin that was taken AFTER 2007/2008?

Some reports of injuries to Zimmerman would, as good circumstantial evidence, corroborate Zimmerman’s version of events; i.e. cuts on the back of the head, broken nose, stains on the back of his shirt etc. In addition, medical reports from the Emergency Room where he was taken could also provide support or refutation of Zimmerman’s version of events.

Yes, the key was the argument over the 'stand your ground' law, which in this case didn't apply, so the MSM jumped on this as a 'coverup'.

I guess nobody will ever know for sure what happened but Zimmerman and Martin (and Martin sure isn't talking). But if I had to guess I bet what happened was —Treyvon was on the phone with his girlfriend, he told her he was being followed by Zimmerman, she told him to just run. Well the testosterone was flowing and he wasn't about to let his girlfriend think he was a coward. In fact he was going to kick Zimmerman's a$$ so he could call his girlfriend back and brag about how he taught that “cracker” not to follow him. Zimmerman asked him what he was doing? He proceeded to punch Zimmerman in the face and start beating his head into the concrete. Only thing he didn't count on was Zimmerman having a gun...
