Al Sharpton has never ever been held accountable by the liberals for his behavior and slanders in the Tawana Brawley case. He and his ilk think they can get away with anything.

They probably have learned they can get away with anything because :

1. They are members of an officially aggrieved politically correct group.

2. They are supporters of liberal causes.

3. The liberals in the MSM automatically and dutifully accept charges of racism from these people, no matter the true facts of any given case.

4. The liberals in the MSM are so PC that they are afraid of being perceived as being bigoted or racist themselves. So they kneel on the altar of Al Sharpton and his ilk whenever they weigh in on an issue.

5. The news guidelines used by the MSM are to push stories which fit certain narratives. The narrative in this case is that America is racist, racists have guns, racists are shooting black boys for no reason. There is no such narrative for the black criminals who attacked the couple in Oklahoma recently, so that story was barely reported by the MSM.

6. Al Sharpton, Jessie Jackson, et. al. can get face time on TV on demand. Whenever they want to weigh in, they get air time.

After Jessie Jackson made his “blacks are under attack” comment I wondered if there was any statistical data upon which to base his claim.

Here’s some numbers from the 2010 FBI #’s ( 2010 FBI) and the 2010 US Census ( 2010 US Census):
a) 196,817,552 (# of non-Hispanic/Latino whites) = 63.7% of the population
b) 42,020,743 (# of “Black or African American alone or in combination”) = 13.6% of the population
c) There were 447 whites killed by blacks
d) There were 218 blacks killed by whites
e) There were 2,459 blacks killed by blacks (shown for reference only)

This shows:
a) That for every 902,833 white people 1 black was killed
b) That for every 94,006 black people 1 white was killed
c) A white person is 9.6X more likely to be killed by a black person than vice-versa.

This statistically refutes Jessie Jackson’s assertion.

Just a day ago I was knocking the story of Martin around with relatives back east, of course the similarities came up fast with the Tawana Brawley debacle. My family lived in Wappingers Falls when that all went down. Tawana was found (?) in the basement of an apartment building by the local yokel town police and told them a story of assault, rape and horrible treatment by a couple of white assailants in a pickup truck. The town cops called the Sheriff's office and the State Troopers who were sent up and down the highways at 2 in the morning and couldn't find a trace of any pickup.....or any other traffic either. The next morning, Tawana fessed up that she made the story up because she was way past her curfew after being out with her boyfriend. The LEOs and the DA were about to charge her (a minor) with filing a false report but dropped it and time went by, a month or so. Then Sharpton latched onto it.

In the end, Tawana and her mother and Sharpton made tons of money and evaded all accountability for the scam.

Now that a month has gone by in the Martin/Zimmerman case, it's all the news surfacing this weekend. Sharpton is back in there as is Jesse Jackson. The New Black Panthers are canvassing to raise a million dollars and offering a reward for Zimmerman. Don't know how much that Sharpton or Jackson are figuring to raise from this but does it matter? It's all windfall money, unaccountable or taxable donations that come streaming in from agitated no nothings.

Then there's obama.....and soon AG holder....and then?
