Obama makes light of, clarifies hot mic moment

President Obama made light Tuesday of the hot microphone moment he had the day earlier with Russian President Medvedev, where he said that after the November election, he'd have more "flexibility" on the issue of missile defense.

Just as leaders were greeting one another and about to sit down at the opening session of the Nuclear Security Summit, Obama spotted Medvedev, looks over at him, puts his hands over the microphone in front of him with a big smile, and then goes to greet the Russian president.

Obama was asked about the "flexibility" statement later while making remarks to the press about a nuclear safety agreement, and said "Arms control is extraordinarily complex, very technical, and the only way it gets done is if you can consult and build a strong basis of understanding both between countries as well as within countries."

...he also noted the START treaty took them two years to get ratified.

"I don't think it's any surprise that you can't start that a few months before a presidential and congressional elections in the United States and at a time when they just completed elections in Russia, and they're in the process of a presidential transition where a new president's going to be coming in a little less than two months," he added.

"[T]he only way I get this stuff done is if I'm consulting with the Pentagon, if I'm consulting with Congress, if I've got bipartisan support, and frankly the current environment is not conducive to those kinds of thoughtful consultations. I think the stories you guys have been writing over the last 24 hours is probably pretty good evidence of that," Obama said.

Clearly his certainty WRT staying in offce is not based on his approval ratings or massive opposition to his cockamamie polices----mandated healthcare, trilllion dollar stimulus, using aborted babies' brains in lab experiments, giving himself massive power over Americans, co-opting religious beliefs......to name a few.

But 'series', with his 41% approval rating and Gas Prices that will go higher, even unprecedented vote fraud couldn't help him come Nov. He'd need Martial Law, with every republican and most independents rounded up and disappeared away to remote camps in Alaska or Northern Montana.

And that would work for about the first 10 minutes before an all out shooting war started with his jack booted thugs dong the rounding up.

Do not underestimate the cash the Ohahas/Chi-mob can come up with......remember, these are the kingpins of Chicago politics. At one time, conscientious FEC investigators verified money was coming from legal citizens....but if Obama wins there will be no investigations. Remember, there are billions unaccounted for in Obama's stimulus packages (probably used in the last election cycle).....you can be sure the Ohaha kingpins have tons of money stashed away for 2012.

Losing votes: Do you think that President Flexibility lost at least a few hundred votes come election day Nov. 2012 because of his recent March 2012 "flexibility" remark to the Russian leader?

What has made the "flexibility" remark worse is that President Obama is making jokes about it as if the statement really meant nothing. Sad. Sad.

Last evening Michael Savage broke with protocol and actually floated something plausible.

He maintained that Open Mic Night was not an accident, but a deliberate set-up by people within his own administration who were not happy with where this was going.

Yes you're right on all counts and I don't mean to make light of the Fraud and other Scams that they have in the works or plans for the election.

But the way things are breaking against Barry even his lapdogs in the MSM can't cover it all up now. And as we all know that was a huge factor last time (plus the way that ijit McInsane ran his 'hands off Obama' campaign). The MSM gave Barry a 15 Point advantage at least by covering everything up about him and his past. But the MSM can't cover up the Gas Prices and that they really are Barry's fault.

And the way ObamaCare started off yesterday in the SCOTUS wasn't good for Barry. Even liberal Justice Breyer was bemused (bewildered or confused) by the arguments of Barry's Solicitor General -- laughter broke out more than a few times. Even Justice Kagan jumped in on the fun.

So ObamaCare looks like it'll be dead, ruling coming right before the election in October. Added to $4.00+ Gas (and still rising), unemployment that will not go away with economy still in the dumpster, the Vote Fraud needed wold have to be like no other we have ever seen. It would have to be on par with that of Saddam and Iraq's 'elections', Zimbabwe, or the election of his buddy Hugo in Venezuela

So IMHO unless he has plans were there wouldn't be an election, he's gone. And if he executes 'that plan', he'll be gone then too.
