Sen. Chuck Schumer is calling on the Justice Department to investigate so-called "Stand Your Ground" laws following the fatal shooting of an unarmed Florida teen.
The law, a version of which was enacted in Florida in 2005, allows for individuals to use deadly force -- even outside their home -- if they feel threatened.
Since the shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, Republican leaders have called the killing a tragedy but argue that the law in question did not actually apply to this case.
Still, Schumer wrote in a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder on Sunday that the laws themselves should be investigated.

This is Schumer’s wet dream: have all state stand your ground laws struck down by the vile Holder’s DOJ.
And once again, I find myself calling for a Giant Skunk Ape’s anal probing of Chuck U’s backside...
This would truly be a great moment to “hit him.” With a bat of course.

The man had every reason to believe he was in fear for his life. The news is filled with accounts of the feral thugs beating people to death. Like here in Douglas county..
I wish to God that the little gay black boy those three thug wannabees were videotaping as they beat him senseless had whipped out a 1911 and blasted their azzes to hell.
The irony, the irony!
Do you mean Chuckie N-L-N Shumer? The Hoodie-Master?
Schumer needs a probe...by We the People.....and that’s his primary fear IMHO....
Schumer needs to stay out of Florida’s business. He should have enough to worry about in the Big Apple.
Doesn’t apply, stupid Chuck... however, SELF-DEFENSE does.
Right. Time for the radicals to act fast for fear that this solid, “slam-dunk” case will turn out to be another Duke Lacrosse hoax with the liberals coming out with egg on their faces. If the left-wing radicals who perpetuate these hoaxes can get enought national poltical pressure and exploit this hoax to further anti-firearms, anti 2nd Ammendment legislation -— then they can consider this whole thing a “win” even if the nation has to bear a few murderous riots, people fearing to go out of their houses and more publicity for racist/hate groups like the Black Panthers —— no matter, the left/progressives/Democrats gets what they want. In the end, that’s all that matters.
The predator class is furious that their prey are shooting back.
Alas, once again I’m late to the show and other FReepers have read this action properly as well.
The Senate’s slimiest RAT has no business in this state. He needs to stay TF out.
I’d be willing to deck Chuckie, and start slamming his head into the sidewalk till he admits the truth!
Never let a good crisis go to waste. If necessary, create one.
How about a federal probe on how a kid:
Caught with a screwdriver and lots of womens jewelry in his backpack
Caught in an unauthorized area at school
Caught with drugs and a pipe in his backpack
Attempts an assault on a bus driver
...only gets a ten day suspension.””””
AMEN
Meanwhile, MAMA-—The Queen of Denial-—,( apparently a prerequisite in the black community), is claiming that “they killed my son & now they are killing his reputation!!!”
Note to MAMA: Your son created his OWN reputation. He has been a trouble maker for some time. The more this gets looked into, the more likely it will become evident that a hoodlum in the budding stages was put out of his misery. This saves more misery within the community. YOU raised him. What reason is there for his recent transgressions??? Ask the bus driver whom he tried to assault while you are whining, MAMA.
Also note to MAMA: How’s it going to help anything by trademarking phrases with your son’s name included?
You appear by those actions to just be trying to make bucks out of his passing.
If so——SHAME on you.
Perhaps the apple didn’t fall far from the tree......
