If there were ever a Republican for President Obama to work with, it was Maine Senator Olympia Snowe. She was one of just three Republicans in the entire Congress to vote for his economic stimulus plan in 2009 and even tried to work with him on health care, but in an interview with ABC's Senior Political Correspondent Jonathan Karl, Snowe makes a remarkable revelation: She hasn't spoken to President Obama in nearly two years.
Snowe said that if she had to grade the President on his willingness to work with Republicans, he would "be close to failing on that point." In fact, Snowe, who was first elected to Congress in 1976, claims that her meetings with President Obama have been less frequent than with any other President...

This is a big deal. Usually liberal republicans like Snowe go out firing at the ‘right wing’ of the party.

Wasn’t she saying a few weeks ago that she now supports the birth control mandate, in violation of the First Amendment? Cannot wait until this pro-baby murder and anti-Constitution Republican leaves the Senate.
Oh, if only the Republican moderates would get a clue. This isn’t your mommy and daddy’s Democrat party. They aren’t negotiating in good faith. They intend to force fundamental change whether we like it or not. I have zero doubt that President Zero sleeps well at night thinking he’s doing what’s best for the world. We stupid conservatives just don’t understand. America must be diminished, and Americans must have and do less. It’s only fair. People who want to fundamentally alter the status quo aren’t typically good negotiators.

She has done almost everything she could to help him succeed.
She thinks the ‘publicans need to work with the other party, and vice versa. One of the things I dislike about Romney is he keeps saying he “will work with the demoncraps.” I want him to turn things around without the support of the demoncraps.
Snowe didn’t leave the liberals, the liberals left her.
There’s only a small handful of liberals left in the Senate and they don’t matter anymore.
The conservatives and the far more numerous socialists are the only ones of import there now.
She is just upset that she didn’t have as many opportunities to sell out the GOP by compromising with the Rats as she thought she would.
Sorry, Olympia. The only thing more slimy than a liberal democrat is a RINO. At least they admit that they are a member of the slime class. You, on the other hand, pretended you had morals and courage...but still happily dove into the slime.

The media were so quick to jump on her reasons for retirment, blaming a supposedly belligerant Republican side.
Now she puts it out there..NO Leadership, no communications...just more “we won” “stuff”.
