One of the biggest myths of the 2012 presidential campaign, propagated by Team Romney and the mainstream media, is that Willard Mitt Romney is a hard-liner on immigration issues. One easily could reach that conclusion if Romney were judged on his speeches, press releases, and sound bites.
However, as all conservatives should know, it is foolish to predict how a politician will govern based on campaign rhetoric. The more reliable way to determine a candidates position is to review his actual record.
It is clear the Romney campaign, beginning with his 2008 bid, decided to use immigration as one of the few hooks it had to lure conservatives to its camp. With Romneys dismal record on fiscal and social issues, his consultants must have concluded that with so little said about immigration by Romney while governor, they could get away with creating a phony record.
Indeed, if one digs deeply, a disturbing pattern emerges. Romneys hard-line positions on immigration suddenly arose as he began thinking of running for president in 2006. Moreover, his current views on immigration usually contradict what he actually said and did as governor. It appears that Romneys immigration positions have been created solely for his presidential run or were based upon events that simply never occurred.

But but but....
As governor he “warned” his landscaping company about illegals at least twice. LOL
The country knows that Obama must go. That is the ONLY reason that Romney is leading. It will take two administrations to get a conservative in the Oval Office. Right now we must focus on getting rid of Obama.
Regarding RINOmney:
If I want someone without merit,
Ill simply vote for the Muslim ferret.
To make this a whole lot easier, maybe we should come up with instances where Milts past stands DO mirror what he is selling voters today. I have a feeling the only thing on that list would be his name.
If Romney is bragging about his position or stance on an issue, its a pretty good bet that something is records and actions indicates otherwise.
If Willard is elected look for a BIG push by the commie donks for an amnesty knowing his true position. They will need the voter drones and there will be a republican President in the White House that will be the "owner" of the amnesty.
It will be sold as bipartisan until about three seconds after it is signed. Then the communists will start screeching about how the "Republican Amnesty" for the illegals is destroying the "Obama Recovery" and it is the evil republicans and big business that want cheap slave labor.
MSM will chant this for years.
Then the communists will try the same procedure for "common sense gun control." All "bipartisan," of course.
And they will direct the outrage at the "republican" President as soon as it is signed.
And the next issue.
And the next...
.
No, there needs to be a groundswell to put more CONSTITUTIONALISTS in Congress. Having the WH and the House won’t do squat to roll back the damage being done....Where have they been since ‘10???
You are being sold a bill of goods in Mitt Romney. Wake up before it is too late. It is critical to the conservative movement, the Republican Party, and the nation itself that we stop Romney from getting the nomination. Conservatives have nothing to lose in an open convention - no one who has any chance of getting the nomination in an open process is as bad as Romney.
Look at what Romney has done when given a chance to act. Ignore his words which are as pliable as silly putty.
