I spent a little time browsing FBI Crime Stats for 2010(Last year that has been finalized) and made some interesting discoveries.
Did you know that 90% of blacks are murdered by blacks, and 83% of whites are murdered by whites?
Did you know that there are 14.82 murders per 100K by blacks versus 2.17 per 100K for whites?
Per capita there are 7x more murders committed by blacks than whites.
I didn’t make this up. It comes directly from the FBI. I just cut the numbers in a more revealing manner.

Rape in the United States I often wondered about this.

Though wiki is sometimes wiki graffiti it appears that the above is documented unless I misread this DoJ document that apparently the Obama/Holder Dept. of Just Us has not yet erased See Percent distribution of single-offender victimizations, based on race of victims, by type of crime and perceived race of offender.
You think this is news worthy? Are you just now becoming aware of this? I’ll tell ya when it gets real interesting...is when a black thug neighborhood bumps against a latino thug neighborhood. You’d think the physically larger black thugs would come out on top. They don’t.
Your thread ignores the liberal counterpoint that 30% of blacks live below the poverty line in this country versus 10% of whites. Also, it would have been helpful if you provided figures for other minority groups. As it is, it could look to the casual observer that you are singling out blacks.
The point I think you are trying to get at is that the Democrat Party has presented itself as having African America's best interests at heart ever since the Dixiecrat defection handed them an overwhelming majority of the black vote in the Sixties, and yet things never seem to get any better for that particular minority group.

Interesting...Same exact data I was using. I did notice something I found in the raw data which was Hispanics must be Other or rolled into White.
Where I live that really skews the results.
Justifiable homicide is of course the controversy in the Zimmerman-Martin case, and there have certainly been cases discussed on FR where most posters felt an injustice had been done.
Blacks are only 12% of the US population, but commit 50% of the murders.
California homicide stats are broken down into black/white/hispanic:
In 2001, of 1,754 arrests for homicide:■ 22.8 percent of arrestees (400) were white.
■ 47.4 percent (832) were Hispanic.
■ 23.1 percent (406) were black.
■ 6.6 percent (116) fell into the "other" race/ethnic group category.
Couldn’t find those pesky Hispanics anywhere.

In 2005, offending rates for blacks were more than 7 times higher than the rates for whites
From 1976 to 2005 —
* 86% of white victims were killed by whites
* 94% of black victims were killed by blacks
You have to really see the chart,
but black on white homicide is MUCH more than white on black.
Statistically the others don’t matter. If it were black/white it is 14.5 vs 85.5.

One interesting stat I uncovered, they give up crime at a younger age while whites continue into their 40’s and beyond.
Could be several reasons for that. Only the undertaker knows for sure.

This Treyvon case is all about aledged interracial murder is it not? Because blacks kills blacks everyday in much larger numbers and you hear no outcry from the race hustlers like Al Sharptoon.
Treyvon is the anomaly because 95%+ of the time it is blacks raping, killing, assaulting white men and women. 5% of the time you have the reverse.

Actually, statistics are separated into "white/non-hispanic" and "white/hispanic". That was done because the "white/hispanic" figures were being diluted by the "white/non-hispanic". When isolated, the "white/hispanic" rates are significantly higher than the "white/non-hispanic".
You will find it easier to get black/white stats, because when Hispanics are the victims, they are counted as Hispanic, but when they are the perp, they are counted as white.
This, obviously, will skew such stats so badly as to render them almost unusable.
According to the feds, Hispanics are white when they commit crimes, but they’re Hispanic when they’re victims.
Read somewhere there are only 3 classifications for race: Caucasian, Asian and Black. (I think everything south of the Himalayans was considered Asian???) I was angry at the recent census trying to divide us all by racial ancestry and color...they had race broken into about ten different categories. I refused to put Caucasian,my friends and I put AMERICAN since they were trying to pigeonhole us all by ancestry in the census. Hey, if we were born here we are and should be classified as American with no further inquiries as to race. Got a nasty form letter back but no further follow up.

These statistics are easy to find online. The US Dept of Justice publishes them each year and they are correct.
You are very mistaken. Is it racist to cite crime statistics that are published by the US DOJ? Are they a racist organization. You make a huge mistake in logic with your rape statistic. Black men are slightly more than 6% of the population, where non-hispanic whites are 35%. You must calculate the per capita number in order to compare them. Also 60% of sexual assaults by black men go unreported, and less than 20% for non-hispanic whites. Why don’t you do a little research before you post that junk.

Blacks men are only 6% of the population, whites are more than 30%. You must make this adjustment in order to compare these numbers.

Not true, either. Hispanics are counted as Hispanic when they are the victims but are included in the White category when being reported as the criminal.
