Military cadets are celebrating gay pride week at the nation’s oldest private military academy by holding a “Queer Prom” and a “Condom Olympics” — an event that includes a game where participants smear lubicrant on condoms until they tear.
Norwich University’s celebration of homosexuality will culminate Saturday with a “Free Love Dance” at the school’s armory. The university said the events are meant to have an “open dialogue on diverse opinions in a safe place.”

The events are believed to be the first of their kind on an American military campus. Norwich University was founded in 1819 in Northfield, VT and has about 1,300 cadets and 1,100 civilian students.

Actually, I am. I’ve been in VT for over 30 years and went to the University of Vermont.
When I was there the Norwich guys used to drive up from Northfield to go drinking in the Burlington bars and pick up UVM women. They also tended to get in fights a lot.
I honestly am SHOCKED that Norwich has changed that much. This actually makes me wonder if they’re doing it as a joke. They were the machoist of the macho when I was in college, but then again that was a long time ago....
Don’t get me wrong—Vermont is a beautiful state. But, for some reason, they almost worship homosexuals there. Go figure.
In the 60s and 70s all the hippies moved up here in a big “back to the land” push and the place hasn’t been the same since. It was sort of like a much smellier and leftie “Free State Project” LOL...
The natives are also reticent live-and-let-live types so tend not to speak up, so the only ones you hear from a lot are the radical libtards that are either the actual or the in-spirit descendants of the 60s leftovers.
As I sit here looking at my diploma on the wall, I am wondering what my grandfather, Class of ‘20 would make of this. Or what my uncle, Class of ‘47 would think of this. I know that This member of the class of ‘82 is in shock.
I guess the good news is that we will have $100 to spend this year—cuz it ain’t going to Northfield.
And, to the person from Burlington— you hit the nail on the head. We had some great nights on Church St. And to the Dartmouth poster: we use to go down to Colby Sawyer and sleep with your girlfriends. So there.
If the current crop of polidiots are re-elected, then it’s only a matter of time before this moronic, God-forsaken behavior invades the major service academies. That, friends, is when we will all know it’s all over.

I have now become the last vet it seems as my boys are now not joining and now looking at the police force.
Romney will never overturn this, as he and the like only care about their own pockets and the power it brings whilst us Joes have to live with these fruit cakes and have the in our faces and put up with their special laws
Romney will do nothing and the GOP is saying just ignore us the base, they think if we make money then that is all we care about.
Because they think money is the only thing important then they think we think that, well not for me.
I want a country where my kids can be raised as they should, no drama queens in their school , no pansies running about in front of them, no teachers who think self mutilation is OK , I want a military where my boys could have gone in and served like the family before them has ETC.
If I had billions of trillions I would still use that money to stop this madness but to the likes of the Romneybots and Romney then they only care about their own pockets and power and to hell with most of us in the base.
What gets me is that the majority do not want this but the MSM carefully covers for these people and would never cover these facts about homosexuals or their agenda and we can’t even count on most of talk radio either, especially Hannity
If it is, our military needs to LEVEL THE ****ing THING and salt the earth where it once stood.

Those of us old enough to remember the 50’s-60’s and the hippy movement will remember that Vermont was invaded by the New York City bohemians and hippies. That place is inundated with liberal/leftist/commies.

I am on each of those campuses every month or so. Based on what I’ve seen lately, neither of us would stand much of a chance.
