Trayvon Martin was suspended from school three times in the months before he was shot dead by a neighborhood watchman, it emerged today.
It was also revealed that he might have attacked a bus driver, according to a Twitter account that it is claimed belonged to the teen.
The Miami Herald claims that in October, he was caught with a 'burglary tool' - a flathead screwdriver - and 12 pieces of women's jewellery. Martin insisted that they did not belong to him.
Earlier, he had been suspended for skipping school and showing up late to class. And most recently, in February, he was suspended again when officials found a 'marijuana pipe' and an empty baggie with traces of the drug.
The fresh claims are likely to be seized upon by supporters of George Zimmerman who say the teenager launched an unprovoked attack on the neighbourhood watch volunteer moments before Trayvon was shot dead.
The revelation about the suspension in October, in a school report obtained by the Herald, was condemned today by Trayvon's family as part of a campaign to smear their dead son.
The boy's mother said: 'They killed my son and now they're trying to kill his reputation.'

The Daily Caller, a conservative news site, has published 152 pages of tweets it says were copied from Trayvon Martin's Twitter account before it was taken down.

And somehow some people can’t grasp how anyone, on their back and fighting for their life, could possibly reach their weapon in an effort to stop the attacker....especially with a broken nose and the back of his head bleeding. Zimmerman better have a good lawyer or else he’ll end up in some prison ward, all doped up, and unable to stand trial.
Hell he would have been the next President of the USA with all his street cred. “Act like a thug and die like a thug.” The truth is what it really is, Mr.Zimmerman had the right to self defense. The racial idiots in life do not believe in due process when they are caught committing a crime. The Trayvon’s of the world prefer,retalitory justice. This serves their purpose regardless of the true facts in the case.
I hope the Grand Jury issues a “NO Bill” on this one.
While Martin’s background may explain his violent behavior, it is irrelevant here.
We know that, at the moment of the shooting, Martin was attacking Zimmerman (on top of him) to the point where Zimmerman defended himself with his firearm.
At this point, the only thread liberals can hope for is to say Zimmerman physically attacked Martin first, who defended himself, and then Zimmerman shot Martin when he was losing the fight.
And that lies in the realm of no witnesses, no evidence and only Zimmerman’s word.
Which is why liberals will never give this up.
In other reports of this story they mentioned that he, “declined to say who gave them to him.” And apparently for the school, that was the end of it!
In any place but a liberal run numb-skull school system, if you are caught with incriminating evidence, it IS yours until you prove otherwise. If you ‘decline’ to say who gave it to you, NOBODY GAVE IT TO YOU.
Like so many of these cases, the ‘kid’ is allowed to get away with progressively more and more. This only reinforces the idea that they CAN get away with more and more. It always ends with them killing somebody, or somebody killing them.
At least this story has the better of the two endings.

This could certainly explain the "suspicious behavior" which caught Zimmerman's attention in the first place. Burglars usually case the neighborhood they intend to hit next.
I have a dumb question, which nobody seems to have an answer to...the police report doesn’t mention Skittles and tea, where exactly did the Skittles meme come from?
It seems that one of the bedrock foundations of the St. Skittles story came out of thin air.
If I were an enterprising reporter, I’d go to every gas station in the area, looking for the ‘last known screenshot’ of St. Skittles...complete with hoodie. I’d interview the last clerk to witness the miracle of being in the presence of No_limit_n*gga, and we’d all have a group cry, on camera of course. And, of course, there should be a make-shift memorial at the door, just under the sign advertising Lotto tickets.

I believe they should arrest Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton for inciting a riot, and they should arrest Obama for fraudulently occupying the white House.
The Mother isn’t worried about her son’s reputation , he already ruined that, she is worried about the T-shirt sales dropping. Maybe if she had worried more about her son he wouldn’t have been suspended 3 times from school.Yet: She blames the school. Which is very typical .

“Normal” = in accordance with the prevailing local culture.
This is rather what “critical race theory” is about. The rules of the larger American culture deem these behaviors as unacceptable, though they are completely “normal” within the subculture in question.
That is why the larger culture and the laws that extend from those mores are deemed “racist”, because the laws criminalize what is “normal” within the subculture.
That witness saw the end of the fight, not the beginning.
Again, the left will say Zimmeran got physical first, maybe even flashed his pistol. Martin feared for his life and tried to disarm Zimmerman and was shot in the process.

Not in any of the accounts I’ve read.
He said they were given to him, and when he said he would not tell them by who, he was admitting that he actually knew who gave them to him.
Personally I call BS on the entire story. I believe the tool was his, and the jewelery had been stolen by him. My point is, why did the school just let the matter drop?
I’ve read that he was walking slowly in the rain and acting high. At least that is what one of the transcripts from the 911 call read.
Maybe the school let it drop because no one reported missing jewelry.
My guess is an “illegal search”....But it certainly appears that this young man’s behavior was getting out of control one step at a time with very few consiquences.
Often being suspended from school is considered a reward rather than a punishment by the child. Only the parents see it differently. Since dad took him from his mother’s home and he was spending the suspension at dad’s girl friend’s house, it may have been an even bigger reward for Trey.
Reports earlier said that Trayvon had called his girlfriend because he was scared of Zimmerman.
I think he called his girlfriend because he wanted her to listen while he administered a beat down on Zimmerman.
By golly, they sure have made a case that Trayvon may indeed be Obamas son.
