Btw, last evening... Went to kids freshman baseball game. It was a tad chilly...wore (audible gasp!!!!) a hoodie (that has says “name of school” baseball...and some parents mentioned that “hoodies” are going to be BANNED (possibly) from dress code BECAUSE OF WHAT THEY SAY PERCEPTIONWISE. Possibly...a suburban SD in the northeast (its cold here a lot of the year!) may ban a generic article of clothing because of “perception.”
Our Constitution made it possible for a doddering old fool like Ginsburg to sit as an associate justice. Hmmm, maybe it does need a change here and there.

A New Black Panther Party leader who offered a $10,000 reward for the capture of the man who killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in Florida was himself behind bars in suburban Atlanta today on a weapons charge.
Actually, that reward has been upped to $1 million dollars.
Hashim Nzinga, 49, was arrested on Monday at the office of his probation officer and charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm, said Adrion Bell, spokesman for the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Department.
Nzinga was convicted in February of deposit account fraud. In March while on probation for that felony, Nzinga allegedly sold a handgun to a pawnshop, Bell said…
Zimmerman, a white Hispanic, claimed self-defense and has not been charged with any crime in connection with the killing of the black teen and the case has prompted nationwide protest demonstrations and allegations of racial bias.

Which is right out of (Obama hero) Derrick Bell’s ‘Critical Race Theory,’ which maintains that blacks and other minorities are not obligated to follow the laws passed by the majority. They get to set their own rules.
And maybe he is right. After all, Eric Holder’s FBI is investigating Mr. Zimmerman for a possible ‘hate crime,’ while Mr. Nzinga’s incitement of kidnapping and murder seems to be being ignored by the Justice Department.
By the way, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Mr. Nzinga’s bail has been set for $10,000, which seems to be a little ironic. Though maybe, on second thought, it should be upped to $1 million.

Why should it not go? The democrats played games to get 0bamacare passed. They were the ones that didn’t put the severability clause in it. Did any of the justices ask why a severability clause wasn’t in this legislation? The whole thing should go.
I have no doubt. The man absolutely hates America with every fiber of his being.
If I remember correctly, the bill was in the process of going back and forth between the Senate and House when Brown was elected. It would not then survive another round of reconciliation so Queen Nancy “deemed” it passed. They just stopped the process when they lost the 60th Senate vote and moved it into the passed column. That alone means it is “one big package.”

Determining the Constitutionality of ObamaCare is like filling a big bucket with cow flop and trying to sell it as milk.
Severability is just drying it out so you can sell it as fertilizer.

I wonder if the constitutionality of the contraception mandate for the Catholic Church will be discussed by the Supremes?

For the aged 1960s Marxist-Alinsky campus spoiled brats and their bratty ideological issue (like our president) the social contract, our Constitution and our "heritage of laws not men" are like authoritarian parents.
In childhood many either defeated or (like our president) never faced curbs on their behavior. Any form of restriction is insufferable.
Nothing is too vile, too violent to defeat the restrictions -- on them -- of the social contract, the Constitution and our "heritage of laws not men."
