Mr. Newt is not done yet...get that fat lady the hell out of FreeRepublic.

Inner city kids as janitors and an expensive moon base while declaring spending to be too high.... not really “bold ideas”.
He had too many anchors attached to ever get moving very far.
This man’s grasp of historical and current issue facts is amazing. If only every man, woman and child in America would be taught even half of the history that Newt walks around with in his head.
Your negative thoughts are not appreciated! Moon base will be created by China, or Russia, or Iran...is that what you want? When Kennedy proposed going to the moon in the 60’s...they all laughed, even those in his own party. Where is your imagination? You obviously have no vision past tomorrow!
Mr. Newt was not proposing that we as taxpayers pay for it. He proposed offering prizes, put up by visionary thinkers, commercial companies, and others. You obviously only hear what you want to hear. You must be a Santorum or Romney or Paul supporter. So go away and get out of this thread!
Wow...he’s the best speaker EVER. He spoke for a long time and has Obama beat by far. No notes - no teleprompter and he listens to questions and offers direct detailed answers.
I’m so impressed with this man. I don’t like everything about him, but I like more about him than any other candidate.
Bahahaha! The other candidates were invited, but only Newt showed up.
I’d love to see moonbases and Mars missions. I would also love to see a candidate that could express a COHERENT vision for them that does not conflict with half of the other things he says and promises.
One word: Convention. Ultimately this matter will be decided at the Convention, there the house trading and various interests of the Republican collation will be negotiated and compromised.
We have a lot of good men running with a lot of great ideas. Hopefully we can in some way combine them on a compromised ticket of both men & policy.
Newt ping for later!
bumping to watch AGAIN!
Really.? This was a GREAT speech :-) but then, they always are. I really liked the Q&A at the end. One esp sharp cookie asked, basically, WTH is wrong with everybody else in DC? (No question who he will be voting for)
It makes me sick that whole country cannot hear him speak. This conversation- & this primary would be over.
On to the convention!
