The funeral director who prepared Trayvon Martins body for burial told HLNs Nancy Grace Wednesday that he did not see any cuts or bruises on the teens hands that would have been indicative of a struggle with George Zimmerman.
Richard Kurtz of Roy Mizell and Kurtz Funeral Home in Fort Lauderdale said there appeared to be a gunshot wound in Martins upper chest area, but he received the body after the autopsy was completed so it was difficult to tell whether he had other injuries. He also could not determine the bullets entry or exit point.
As for his hands and knuckles, I didnt see any evidence he had been fighting anybody, Kurtz said.

Don't ask if his race has anything to do with his non-expert opinion.
You don’t need to use fists to slam someone’s head into a solid object, or to knock them down and kick them.
Also: if you are grappling then you can knee them in the face.
Well at least he confirmed that Trayvon was shot in the chest and not the back of the head like the last lie that was told. As for no marks on Trayvons hands, I guess the eyewitness must be discredited who saw Zimmerman on the ground yelling for help with a red shirt as he got beaten up. The EMT’s and the police are just liars and so is the eyewitness. Right!
Guilty dial: 1-800 G-U-I-L-T-Y
Not-Guilty dial: 1-800 R-A-S-I-S-T
I think he used his iced tea can to hit Zimmerman.
well thank goodness funeral directors aren’t coroners
One punch in the nose would not mark up Martin’s hand. After that he was apparently banging Zimmerman’s head on the ground. So there wouldn’t be any marks on Martin’s hands in the account given by Zimmerman.
At any rate, we have an autopsy to rely on for such info.
I will bet that statement was from a black funeral director.
Can’t even follow the gunshot wound, I doubt he would know anything more about anything else. Coroner will mop the floor with him in court.
yet no arrests.
I will bet that statement was from a black funeral director.

Clicking on the link provided by Sacajaweau in Post #6 above revealed the above.
Nancy, you ignorant slut. Why you didn’t crawl into a hole and disappear from the public eye forever after the debacle the Duke lacrosse exoneration represented to you, I will never know. It amazes me that people still watch her after that.
I guess he wants to drum up more business.
The funeral director’s observations mean *nothing*.It’s the ME who determines what did...and did not...happen.I wonder if it would be “Dr G” of Orange County.
I’ll wait for the autopsy report.
This means nothing. Of course, the fact that this should mean nothing means nothing.
Seems the media is working hard to refute the recent “other side” leaking out.
ABC had video last night “which showed” no bleeding to head (from 400 feet away after he was probably cleaned up). Now CNN interviews the funeral director.
I wish they wee this inquisitive with Obama.
Bet they have serviced a lot of young men over the years. Surprised they did not reference their expertise and experience of the cosmetic work done by their firm on shooting and knifing clientèle.
Shhh thats racist
Perhaps the autopsy report will be more specific.
Just the usual propaganda
I started diregarding anything Nancy Grace had to say way back during the whole lacrosse fiasco. Week after week she was full speed ahead with the premise that they were all guilty as sin and ridiculed anyone who even suggested that the prosecution’s case just didn’t seem to add up. Dirty b*tch. I’m disgusted that she’s still on.
I can’t believe Nancy Disgrace is still on the air or ever was to begin with.
“(He) said there appeared to be a gunshot wound in Martins upper chest area, but he received the body after the autopsy was completed so it was difficult to tell whether he had other injuries. He also could not determine the bullets entry or exit point.”
Hmm. Maybe that’s because an autopsy had already been performed by a doctor with expertise in the examination of body tissues and fluids. You know, a pathologist. Which he is not.
This bears repeating. Bruises form when blood is pumped out through broken capillaries. There was probably not enough time for bruises to form before Trayvon died.
So now a funeral director is a forensic expert. Give me a friggen break.
Doesn’t mean anything...
In my younger street-roaming days, I had some scuffles where I beat the guy to a pulp without getting a scratch on my hands.
Slamming someone into hard objects (like concrete) can do far more damage than your fists.
This story becomes more of a farce everyday. Absolutely ridiculous.
Welcome to the USSA, comrade.
Please take a number .. your train will be here shortly.
I would prefer to read the coroners report rather than hear from a funeral director (no doubt hired by the family of Martin) before I would think this is relevant.
I’m embarrassed I actually watched this tripe. The good funeral director not only gave his expert opinion on the state of the body but also described this as the worst case of police work he has ever seen.
Nancy Grace is a joke.
That pretty well covers it.
First time I seen a funeral ad with a printable coupon: “Print this page to receive a free limousine service. We would match and beat any funeral home prices” I didn’t know WalMart expanded into the funeral biz.
Dr. G. will find that he died of a gunshot wound brought about by smoking cigarettes.
Apparently the “funeral director” never was man enough to have to fight someone when he was young and in school.
As an undomesticated male, I used to be in fights all of the time when I was young. I have since learned that the winner of the fight hurts as bad as the loser, but that’s another story.
In all of the fights I experienced as a lad, never have I showed bruises or cuts on my “white” hands. Believe me, they were used unmercifully on the ones I fought.
Now, let’s take a black person. His hands are black! How to you find a dark bruise on his hands? How about cuts? He would not have any cuts unless he actually punched the victim in the TEETH. You don’t cut your hands when you hit someone in the “snot locker.”
What a pathetic racial panderer both the funeral director and the MSM are when it comes to reporting the truth.
We are an independently family owned and operated business, serving the African-American community ...
I wonder if they have ever had any type of discrimination suits filed against them?
I guess everyone can figure that one by themselves. If not, call me to buy some gold...we deliver in 10 days or less.
A copy of the contemporaneous, February 26, 20121 @ 03:26, police report regarding the shooting can be found at the Sanford city site at:
Also include are:
8 911 calls related to the shooting;
8 police reports regarding break-ins, including home invasion of young womens apartment by two “black males” at 11:00 am. She protected herself by locking herself in her bedroom. When trespassers are identified, they are black with one exception, a white with three black companions.
Sounds like a guy who wants to keep his funeral business, instead of having it burned down.
“I want you to use all your powers and all your skills.”
Nancy disGrace uses dead children to make a living.
Both of these can protect the knuckles and delicate bones in the hand.
Who gives a crap about the funeral director. What’s important is what the cops and coroner saw.
chain of custody issues abound. How do we know who had access to the body? Was this a set up in order to have this person give a pr testimony if it was going to be obvious the autopsy was going to be worse?
the state wide prosecutor is fishing for charges to sacrifice a man’s life for this junk?
