To a veteran of military service, especially one who served in wartime, even more, one who served in a combat zone, nothing is more insulting than a false claim of combat service. It's even worse when the liar, or someone speaking on their behalf, knows the false-flag pseudo-veteran could not have even been in the military, let alone in combat.
But for President Obama, it's difficult to decide if he is more interested in lying to everyone, or taking special effort to lie to and insult veterans.
Here is the proof. Look at the linked video of Obama claiming his father served in WWII. There is no mistaking his words.
Then read the biography of his father from Wiki:
"Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. (/ˈbærək huːˈseɪn oʊˈbɑːmə/; Born 18 June 1936, Died 24 November 1982) was a Kenyan senior governmental economist and the father of U.S. President Barack Obama. He is a main subject of his son's memoir, Dreams from My Father."
Obama Senior was 3 years old when the war started in Poland, 9 when it ended.... and not to many battles were fought in the tribal areas Kenya!
If Obama claims he was referring to his step-father; Wiki says that too is impossible:

Muslim Sotero was 4 when the war started, 10 when it was over.... in Indonesia!
This is no mistake, such as confusing the 57 Islamic States with the 50 US states. This is an out and out lie, chosen and spoken with the sole purpose of trying to fraudulently induce American veterans and their families to vote for him.
If Obama would lie about this (and insult veterans in the process), he will lie about anything, but we all knew that already!
This man is pure evil. He is definately possessed. He has not a good and decent cell in his body. He has no soul.
That was his grandfather. Because he hates white America o much it is understandable his black father came to mind first. In my opinion this was just a slip - not a deliberate lie.
More likely, Obama Sr. “served” in the Mau Mau uprising in Kenya in the early 1950s.

Only thing I’m accepting is that we are witnessing the first and last black American President. They had their shot and chose to put up their worst. Like Buffett said in the song, “he had enough to buy Miami and pissed it all away”.
My grandfather still has his Civil War Uniform hanging in his closet . . .be brings it out once in a while and puts it on so family and friends can see what he looked like when he participated in the Battle of Gettysburg. He sure looks impressive in that uniform. He tells some GREAT war stories as well.
I must admit, I fail to see why ANY service person would offer the least bit of respect to a serial LIAR!
Wouldn't this explain the birth certificate issues? Michelle stating his Barack is the son of a single mom (who perhaps was a black girl or hooker who according to some on the web, Stanley was known to frequent)? The seeming lack of motherly concern for the young boy Barack who ended up being for the most part raised by his grandparents?
Finally, in the 1940's, few parents would name their baby girl, 'Stanley Ann' unless the father, named Stanley desperately wanted a son. So 16 years later when a chance encounter or a long relationship with a black mistress produces a a boy, a son, he is not given up for adoption or quietly supported away from the family, but taken in and raised in the best of circumstances, Honolulu, Punahoe etc.
