I have been struck by three observations in the past 24 hours:
1) The MSM wants to BURY SCOTUS discussion of Obamacare. Estrich was on with Hannity yesterday and she will always be a partisan hack. She made the comment twice that SCOTUS needs to yield to Congress on this matter. She actually said that normally, she is FOR Judicial Activism, but not in THIS case. Hmmm. Wonder why?
2) Trayvon Martin case is a complete manipulation of the MSM to place stories of racism front and center, even though similar cases of racism AGAINST whites are buried. Have another story in Ohio which is also catching fire right now. Which brings me to point 3.
3) Hannity made a comment yesterday that just cannot be true. He declared amazement how some stories catch on nationally and some don’t. Really? Hannity has been PART of media for how long and he doesn’t get this? It just does not make sense that someone as close to the media as Sean doesn’t get it. The media DRIVES most of the social discussions in this country by which stories it chooses to or not to promote.
We were sitting almost under the speakers hanging from the ceiling. Loved it!
Touring with them is Darius Rucker. I don't know a lot of the names of people in the music business. This was a country music show, but Rucker seemed to lean to a few Hootie and the Blowfish songs. Well DUH, he used to be the lead singer for them. (As I found out later)

I bought the tickets more for my wife than for me. But, having gone, I would go again in a heartbeat. They are playing in Sacramento tonight, and I wish I could go to that one too!
I’ve heard them on SNL and maybe one of the late night talk shows. I’m not a country music fan so...
My wife is a new country music fan though so she may even have them on her iPod.

Rush making the point now that occurred to me all through the last 3 days - there’s nothing new here. No argument that hasn’t been discussed on FR and everywhere else for the past 2+ years. It’s hilarious now that the incompetence and political hackery of Pelosi et all is no being mocked in the highest court of the land. “Wizards of Smart”, indeed...
The Supreme Court is laughing at them. That is gratifying!

It’s fun to contemplate that. But, IMO, Scalia and Roberts are not men who would retaliate against a President. If what is being considered Constitutional they will uphold it regardless of their opinion of the President.
I can't believe that anybody on The Court (with the exclusion of The 0's pets and appointees) would lower themselves to that level.

The only thing matching the character of that crap would have been if the entire Court had flipped Zero the bird.
This decision, OTOH, is simply a case of judicial review of a great big steaming pile of BS, and the only people on that court that will support it have been bought and paid for to claim that it's rosebuds.
Payback doesn't have a thing to do with it.

My thoughts turned briefly to the Dixie Chicks. They would still be performing and earning lots of money, and would be a huge draw, but they aren't. And all because they forgot that they were performers, not political pundits. They threw away a hugely rewarding career - for nothing.

Oh, good, Rush is explaining severability. This is a new take on it to me. Would Congress have enacted the bill without the individual mandate? I think the Dems took out the clause because they knew Obamacare would never work without it. I’ll bet they never thought it would become the defining issue of the program.
I’ll bet Mark Levin has discussed the severability issue at length. I’ve missed EVERYTHING this week!
Dems could have put ANYTHING in 0bamacare, they didn’t put a severability clause on purpose.
Because they knew they wouldn't be able to make the program work without guaranteed, forced funding from the taxpayers, right?
