Trump won't rule out supporting Hillary in 2016 (Watch Video)
The Hill ^ | 03/29/2012 | Christian Heinze

On Greta Van Susteren's show Wednesday night, Donald Trump praised Hillary Clinton extensively and refused to rule out endorsing her if she runs for president again.

"Hillary Clinton, I think, is a terrific woman. I mean, I'm a little biased because I've known her for years.... I think she really works hard, and I think she's -- again, she's given an agenda, it's not all of her -- but I think she really works hard, and I think she does a good job, and I like her."

Van Susteren then asked if he thought Hillary would run for office again.

"I think so. Assuming she's healthy.... I think she probably runs after the next four years, I would imagine."

Would Trump support her?

"I don't want to get into this, because I'll get myself into trouble, but I just like her. I like her, and I like her husband..... He's a really good guy, and she's a really good person and woman."

She will be a bit long in the tooth for this type of work.

Trump realizes he hasn’t been the center of attention for a few weeks and aims to correct that problem.

Inasmuch as the president and the former first lady share the same ideology, by what logic would one assume that the problems he rails about would be solved by replacing the current redistribution chief with another one?

Donald Trump praised Hillary Clinton extensively

Really? She has been a disaster in her current post.

I can now see why this dope is endorsing Milt this year. Trump loves incompetence.

Back when people were actually wanting Trump to run for president, this is the thing I kept warning folks about. His political views are more all over the place than McLames. Of course since it looks as if we'll be stuck with Mittens, I don't know that the hair head would be much worse.

Neither of them fits my idea of “conservative.”

Same here. I've never trusted anything about Trump.

I just happened to see this interview with the Donald. No conservative in his bones. Just around ratings time for his celebrity apprentice!

Hopefully, Thump will have met a mirror he can’t live without by then, married, and moved away. He’s so tiresome.

Back when people were actually wanting Trump to run for president..

This was mostly just a birther thing. Now that Trump dropped the issue they don't seem to like him anymore and the Trumpmania died almost immediately. Few actual conservatives wanted Trump because they realized he wasn't a conservative at all.

Trump is a businessman & an opportunist. I personally think he tends to lean ‘left’, not ‘right, but bottom line, he will support the person(s) he thinks will be best for his business ventures, regardless of political party or affiliation. Obama is hostile to business .... thus Trump wants to see him go & is leaning ‘right’ for the moment. He perceives Romney as business friendly. The Clintons, for all their socialist tendencies, are greedy and knew better than to kill the goose that was laying the golden eggs (and lining their pockets) ..... and Trump expects that he can make money if Hillary is in charge.

Brilliant post. I totally agree with your analysis and have nothing to add, except - Ditto, as this is worth repeating. Trump is for Trump.

Trumps blushing affection for Hillary and Bill seems to add support to Corsi’s claim that they were in cahoots with Trump's 2011 effort to flush out the LFBC.

Trump and the Clinton's may have been black-mailing Barry, knowing Barry didn't have a BC, but then Barry punked them by producing a forged BC and daring them to call him on it and bring down the entire Democratic administration and all of the bazillions of Clintonistas and Hillary as well.

Perhaps the blackmail attempt that Trump and the Clinton's were behind in 2011 was to get Barry to resign to spend more time with his family and be replaced with Biden, then have Hillary push Biden aside for 2012.

Trump also said in the interview that Bill came and spoke and a big event sponsored by Trump and these kinds of relationships where Trump can draw huge crowds of Democratic mean big bucks to Trump. It could be as simple as continuing to have access to the PR value of the Clintons for Trump's brand.

Timing is everything and Trump, who recently sent an attaboy note to Arpaio, could just be waiting for the right moment to go after Barry on the BC, if only to get even for the Wash Press Club event where Barry humiliated Trump.
