The ISO to be imposed on April 1 considers all but eight breeds of hogs to be feral. Those eight breeds are used in confinement buildings. That means the DNR can drive onto farms and homesteads that raise other breeds of swine and kill them on the spot.

I don’t know if you guys went over to the Baker Green Acres website..but this guy and his family have what I deem about the perfect small farm/homestead. He is a 20 year Air Force Veteran and he will be devastated by this. The videos on his website are good. He tells what he is raising, what they are bred for and why they are bred the way they are. This man and his family are plainly awesome.

At first I thought that last sentence leaves any domestic hogs out of this regulation, but now see that the “sus domestica” probably means a specific breed. That sucks. I wonder if there are large hog industries with thousands of hogs in buildings that perhaps greased the wheels of this law?
And as for the trespassing, these guys can go anywhere. There was the case of the County guy in Washington State that went on a guy’s lawn to write him up for having some invasive weed. The guy came out with a shotgun and told him to get off of his property. The county guy called the sheriff, and when the guy came out of his house again, shotgun in hand, they killed him.

Indiana game wardens -they hate being called that-I mean “conservation officers” are some of the most egotistical arrogant a**h***s you’ll ever not want to meet.They and their buddies in the regular police play this little game where if the cops suspect someone but can’t get a warrant,the DNR officer just happens to need to go on that property looking for some wild animal ,check for poachers, or whatever. Then if he sees anything in violation of other laws ......
Maybe I’m crazy..but I have been reading a lot about this Michigan move and I think that I have read in more than one place that Indiana wants this same set up.
Agenda 21 in action. It is about taking their land - in the end. First they begin with harassment.
And people who prefer to get their food locally from farmers will be affected as well as the general public.
