We have my 8 year old niece in a Christian school. A lot better and less of the PC crap, though she tells me she would vote for Obama (because he's cool). Definitely head to a private school if you can, my niece is way ahead of the public kids a way ahead of where i was at that age. Even so, we are considering homeschooling at some point with extended family. It's a zoo out there.

Not too impressed with your "Christian" school if it spawns Obama voters like that. My kids' public school tends to be very anti-Obama and pro-tradition, but it depends on where you live. We do not live in a wealthy area, either, just a conservative one.
