With Chicago suffering a 35 percent spike in murders this year, police Supt. Garry McCarthy announced a reshuffling of his command staff Friday, replacing commanders in five of the citys 23 districts.
McCarthy also promoted three supervisors to deputy chief positions.
McCarthy said the changes were made to strengthen the departments ongoing efforts to reduce violence and create a more efficient departmental structure.

What’s the problem? Aren’t the good citizens just following Michelle Obama’s Chicago South-side values.The ones she has intilled on her daughters.
This isn’t a police problem: there are just too many bad people living on the South and West sides of Chicago. Products of a failed and broken subculture. And believing, because their leaders say so, that their dysfunction is not their fault. Very sad.
