Former President Bill Clinton said the "tragedy" of the killing of Trayvon Martin should cause a re-thinking of the "Stand Your Ground" law. "There are different stories being told," the former president said, "so the first thing I have to say is that it's important to find out the facts."

Clinton continued "but to me, beyond the incredible personal tragedy- this young man was not armed, he clearly presented no threat to anybody's life

They're out to trash the 2nd.

Don't you just hate when the ground jumps up and beats on the back of your head and your nose smashes itself into someone's fist?

How the heck does he know that even though he was unarmed he “clearly presented no danger”? We just had a young thug arrested here in Mobile who wasn’t armed and managed to get the policeman’s gun and murdered him in the sally port of the county jail.

What’s the problem with the law? One less vicious punk on the streets. Sounds like it worked fine to me.

Well slick it pisses me off that Juanita Brodrick wasn’t armed. If she had been we wouldn’t have had to put up with your sorry ass.

Gag! Slick WIllie is joining the mob in convicting before a trial!!!

How does Slick KNOW the TeenThug “presented no threat to anybody’s life???”

He’s at it again with his James Carville-style greasy campaign tactics.

That’s easy to say for someone surrounded by kevlar-vested body guards carrying MP5s, paid for, incidentally, by the tax dollars of those he would leave defenseless.

Hypocrite.

What does Bill Clinton have to worry about? He has Secret Service protection. Those boys ALWAYS get to stand their ground and then some.

Tell you what, Slick. You forego Secret Service protection and move to a condo complex like that where George Zimmerman lived, and THEN get back to us about Stand Your Ground laws.

Until then, you have NO CLUE what consitiutes a danger to life and limb, because you have trained professionals doing that for you.

Not the whole.....there’s a racial element here too. Stir them up and get them to the polls.......especially if there’s civil disturbance

Yeah, what does Clinton have to worry about? He has armed guards around him 24/7 (at taxpayer expense).

Hey, how about we end Secret Service protection for Clinton? Okay, I’ll play the Democrat game, I’ll “compromise”. How about Clinton gets to keep his Secret Service detail, but they cannot be armed by law. How about that? I compromised, didn’t I? Let’s do it.

There is no end to the kinds of weapons people carry that they can use to kill people if they so choose. He should have just stopped after the statement after waiting to get all the facts. I don’t know about people my age in general, but I do know my friends and I are very, very careful about where we go and are learning to become more aware of those around us, now even during the daytime. Most that I know are now licensed to carry, regularly go to the range for practice time and probably would not go out at all at night if we were not allowed to carry protection.

I’m surprised the convicted liar didn’t mention all the black churches he saw burned as a child. (with acompanying crocodile tears)

BTW it has nothing to do with stand your ground, its concealed carry and the right any citizen has to follow another person in their neighborhood behaving suspiciously, especially with many recent burglaries in the area.

BTW2 if Zimmerman had not had a gun he would most likely been another white/hispanic victim of a would be black murderer. Something that is far more common place. It was self defense Clinton you *%#^$ moron.

And yet thousands of innocents murdered every year doesn’t make liberal/progressives re-think their “citizens should remain unarmed” policies.

If this has been handed off to Bubba, that means Axelrot is trying to keep Bobo as far away from it as he can.

“Hopes Trayvon Martin Case Leads to Reappraisal of ‘Stand Your Ground’ Laws”

They could make a new one called the ‘Lay on the Ground’ Law.
