Police are investigating a shooting at an East Oakland religious school that left several people injured, authorities said.
The shooting happened at Oikos University at 7850 Edgewater Road about 10:40 a.m.
There are reports of several people hurt inside the school, and police are reportedly searching for a suspect still on the scene.
Police, including members of the SWAT team, are taking up positions around the building.

here’s a different version than ‘official’ version:
from MSNBC “shooter was a man in her nursing class who got up and shot one person at point-blank range in the chest before spraying the room with bullets”
Hearing reports the shooter went to a nearby Safeway and turned himself in at the customer service counter.
That was my first thought.

Authorities captured Goh more than five miles away in an Alameda shopping mall an hour after the shooting.
“She said he looked crazy all the time,” Angie Johnson, 52, said the victim told her, “But they never knew how far he would go.”
Lisa Resler, 41, was shopping with her 4-year-old daughter when she saw a security guard and Alameda police detaining the suspect outside the Safeway store. The man appeared “very sedated” and “looked so out of it,” Resler said. She described him as an Asian male who was wearing a beanie and khaki pants.
Prediction;
The man will have had a history with the mental health system, and will have gone to a state, like Arizona, that will not have required a background check as to his psychiatric history, to acquire his weapons legally. This will lead to a push to federalize all gun laws.

They count on this crap happening in these kinds of places, so they can kick and scream even louder for more gun control, and then sit back smugly and watch as the spineless superheros on our side give in and cave to their demands.
It’s what they do.
They can’t have their little Utopian socialist workers paradise as long as there are people able to forcibly and lethally resist them.
So...they dance and revel in the deaths of innocent folks because it suits their ultimate agenda - disarming American citizens who are disinclined to acquiesce to their vision of paradise...
