A 7th-grader could tell you the Supreme Court has the power to overturn an act of Congress.
This is alarming because of the mindset behind it. HE’s in charge, and what HE says, goes. Separation of Powers doesn’t apply in his mind if it opposes his will.
Maybe 40 years ago a 7th grader could tell you what the Supreme Court is supposed to do but probably not today. Frankly, I doubt very many kids with a high school diploma could tell you.
