The latest report from the coroner is that Martin's body didn't show any evidence, of any sort, of being in a fight. No bruising or anything else.
The latest photos of Zimmerman show lacerations and bruising on the back of his head, stark testimony of being struck from behind, or else having his head impacted on something hard, such as the ground, when he was lying down.
Someone called out "Help, help!"
Considering human nature, I wonder whether it was more likely that the person desperately calling for help was the one receiving the beatings and bruising... or the one with "... no sign of being in a fight that I could see..."
Someone in that fight got the worst of it- quite possibly the one without anger issues to spur instant adrenalin. Someone else got the least of it- quite possibly someone with serious anger issues.

If Martin jumped Zimmerman from behind and threw him to the ground, Martin wouldn’t have any bruises on his body. Or what is on his hands is another question if he hit Zimmerman. Zimmerman’s face showed scratched. Now, from who or what? DNA under Martin’s nails would solve some of this question.
Alternatively, Martin could have suddenly charged Zimmerman, pushing him background into a fall in which he hit his head on the concrete, grass, soil, etc.
Hopefully the EMT wrote this up in his report.
If Zimmerman charged Martin, his weight would have knocked Martin down and Martin might have had some kind of marks on his head, coat, etc.
Won’t know until a full forensic’s report is released, or a grand jury report.
Still nothing on gunshot residue issue.
Best thing for us to do is to shut up until all the evidence is in. Too many people have made fools out of themselves in this case, and I don’t intend to be one of them.
One thing to consider is the fact that bruising (on knuckles, etc.) takes a while - and requires blood pressure.
How about this: the guy yelling “help help” was the one the witness saw yelling “help help.”

I don’t think it was the coroner. I think it was the funeral director/undertaker. Not the same thing.
TM could have been shot from a distance and that still would be a self defense shooting, the issues will come if GZ has any statements that contradict the forensic evidence.

I don’t think the coroner has released the report yet. What you are referring to is probably statements made by the dumb ass Funeral Home Director.

That was also Zimmerman. Direct quote per on the scene police report:
"Zimmerman was placed in the rear of my police vehicle and was given first aid by the SFD. While the SFD was attending to Zimmerman, I over heard him state 'I was yelling for someone to help me, but no one would help me.' At no point did I question Zimmerman about the incident that had taken place. Once Zimmerman was cleared by the SFD, he was transported to the Sanford Police Department."
Frankly, I am sick and tired of hearing about this. This is not the most important thing going on. Our country is going down the toilet bowl and all we want to do is discuss this issue. The news media is playing everyone on this and all the hype is intended to take the focus away from our communist-in-chief and all his wrong doing. Well, I’m not falling for it. This case is no different than a 1000 other similar ones this year, but the Dems and Dem media are using it to their advantage, just fanning the flames.
On another thread, some posters are saying that the body does not bruise after death. I have no idea if that theory is correct or not.
But, a funeral director was the one who claimed the body had no bruises, and he specifically mentioned Martin’s knuckles. Zimmerman claims Martin punched him. So, the lack of bruising doesn’t necessarily support Zimmerman’s story.

Good point. I heard that in the first report I heard about this whole fiasco when it broke as a news item.
Unbelievable. You would think this would be obvious (the point you make) but no. I expect libs to fall for this crap, but not Freepers. I was wrong about that...there are a lot of them who can’t see the obvious.
Just like the dummies on here who are saying strings were pulled for Zimmerman because his father was a magistrate or some crap like that. I can just see the conversation now:
DETECTIVE: “Hey, this guy we took into custody for the shooting, his name is Zimmerman. He says his dad is a former magistrate.”
DISTRICT ATTORNEY: “Really? Zimmerman, you say?”
DETECTIVE: “Yeah.”
DISTRICT ATTORNEY: (Speaking to others) “Hey. Anyone here know this Zimmerman guy or his dad?”
ASSISTANT DA 1: “No.”
ASSISTANT DA 2: “Umm...no.”
ASSISTANT DA 3: “Who?”
DISTRICT ATTORNEY: “Well, we gotta find out who this guy is. You, do a Google search on him. YOU, find out if he is important. We have to find out if this Zimmerman guy is one of ours...”
ASSISTANT DA 2: “What do we do if he is “one of ours”?”
DISTRICT ATTORNEY: “What, is this day one of your new job, or what? If he is “one of ours”, we can’t risk having him go down for this. Get the investigators on the case to scrub their story and make it more palatable so it won’t look like we are letting one of our buddies off. Talk to the EMTs, get their medical reports, and have them re-written.”
ASSISTANT DA 3: “Ummm, sir...the people there are saying guy is a no-count SOB who is reputed to be a rent-a-cop wannabe, pushing his agenda all over the condo association there...they say he shows up at meetings with a rottweiler and a gun! And there are witnesses all over...”
DISTRICT ATTORNEY: “DO I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING MYSELF AROUND HERE? I DON’T WANT ANY CHARGES FILED AGAINST THIS ZIMBERLAND GUY!”
ASSISTANT DA 1: “Sir, his name is ‘Zimmerman’, not ‘Zimberland’ and his dad is a famous magistrate up in Fairfax, Virginia. He is very well connected with the DC crowd.”
DISTRICT ATTORNEY: “See? What did I tell you. Come on, folks. The night is getting long. Get this thing scrubbed so we can release this guy.”
