The most amazing ability that Democrats have is their shamelessness in telling bald faced lies to the face of people and straight into the camera. The best way to combat it is to do what this interviewer did: ridicule; telling the Democrats to stop insulting people’s intelligence. “We live here...we know the man...you could get away with saying that stuff in North Carolina, but not here in LA”! That was just awesome. The final nail was nailing her with the specifics, i.e. the ethics violation, the bundlers’ perp walks, etc. At that point, it’s not a question of opinion, it’s facts, and she couldn’t weasel her way out of it. She picked Villagosa or whatever his name is strictly to attract hispanic voters. That’s what identity politics gets you: selecting someone for his ethnicity instead of his quality/accomplishments!

I first heard him when they put him on in the middle of the night during the 2000 election fiasco. He is an armchair historian and it was a fascinating time in history, to not have a President elect for weeks. He became a hit and did the Red Eye Radio graveyard shift for years, then did a time as morning host, then got fired, did graveyard again for a year to two, and now was rehired in the morning.
He used to be a common sense conservative even though he works as a tv writer in Hollywood. He is quite funny and bright. He is bipolar and can melt down. But he’s mostly great to listen to.
However, around 2008, something happened to him. It thoroughly disgusted me. He became swept under the wave of Hollywood Obama Fever. It made no sense with all I knew of him for years that he couldn’t see through Obama. He voted for him and it wasn’t long after that he was fired. Since then, he has been very “fair,” undeservedly fair, to Obama, as if he doesn’t wish to admit his vote was a mistake.
Other than that, he is a good guy and I wish he would admit that Obama has been One Big Ass Mistake, America. With all he knows about American history he should know it.

Your take on Doug McIntyre is spot on. Good guy, but has a decided blind spot when it comes to Obama that is irritating. He’s “too fair” and falls back on the “both parties are equally guilty” meme. That said, he’s knowledgable and entertaining.

Michael Berry put Specter in his place, called him the most arrogant person he’d ever had on his radio show and that Specter should be ashamed for taking tax payer dollars in pay since 1965. Very funny.

He was ok when he was on WABC out of NY. The problem I had with him is one I have with O’Reilly and others — they always give obama the benefit of the doubt. They don’t think he has any malicious intent and that he’s a mice guy.
