Most had been keeping an eye out for green slime and glitzy celebrity guests but it was Michelle Obamas daring wardrobe choice which had the fashion set glued to last night's Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. The First Lady stepped out in leather pants, designed by New York-based designer Wes Gordon, for the star-studded event which she attended with her daughters Malia, 13 and Sasha, 10. Mrs Obamas two girls also helped shine the light on lesser-known designers, both wearing designs by UK-based shopping website ASOS.

Michelle dresses in the dark. Her daughters have all the fashion sense of Chelsea. The president actually looks good in a suit. Just don’t put him on a bicycle. The helmet looks silly.
Just when you think this family couldn’t be more tacky, narcisstic, inappropriate, self-aggrandizing and embarrassing, they top themselves...
Hey, the emperor has NO CLOTHES!!!!!!
She crashes the Kid's Choice Awards, and Zero appears at halftime of the NCAA Championship game. Is there no escaping these two?
Trick or Treat
That appears to be Her Imperial Majesty M00SECHELLE, Queen of Planet Zork and Empress of the Socialistica Galaxy.
OMG! That is embarrassing! I cannot believe the country’s First Lady would show up anywhere, even walking the dog, dressed like that. Designer pants? Give me a break! Ugly is an understatement!
Sheeeeesh... Hey Michelle, you’re not a teenager anymore.
Her kids look more grown up than she does.
That my friends is 10 lbs of crap in a 5 lb bag.
Sorry-gotta say it
I have seen better dressed streewalkers.
The Moose’s pants were leather, I was thinking heavy duty spandex.
Just when I think the First Frump can’t look any uglier or more inappropriate- there she blows.
For God’s sake, Mooshelle, have just a LITTLE respect for the position you hold.
Can you imagine Laura showing up looking like that??
What a stain on American history this creature is.
The world is laughing at us.
Does anyone else think that her designers are in cahoots...and that they are laughing up their sleeves as they “dress” her?
Honestly, these people have a knack for picking out the absolute ugliest clothes in the bunch. I don’t like those prints the girls are wearing. And Moochelle, well.....what’s there to say? She looks like she’s wearing a clown suit. Those big lumpy legs have no business in thin leggings. And why does everything have to be covered in gold and glitz and sparkle?
Also, WHY DOES SHE ALWAYS SLOUCH??
Ugly does not even begin to describe...
Oh, now that’s nasty.
I see Michelle and the girls have been busy vacationing and shopping on our dime. I have to say it is embarrassing to see the First Lady dressed like a streetwalker......Looks like something out of the movie Idiocracy....
But I finally realized what we're seeing in that picture.
Looks like a dominatrix. Needs a whip to complete the outfit.
Nasty ... streetwalker ... heavy duty spandex leather pants ... dominatrix!
... and your problem is ... what?
I’ve designed costumes for theater for many years and I can make anyone/any figure look good whether it’s a hand-made outfit or a Goodwill recycle. Nearly everytime I see the first lady I’m stunned at how unflattering her outfits are and how they emphasize the unflattering parts of her figure. I always think “If you let it out here and took it in there or used a different fabric it would look fine.”
Ol’ Thunderthighs does it again. Who said, “It’s hard to dress a wookie”?
It’s so bad even Hildebeeste is gettin’ ready to hurl.
I know what would go with that. Sword and shield. Her outfit looks like armor and she looks like an Amazon.
Did someone wish to see Obama on his bike going fast on the BIG street in his mom jeans and silly helmet? Hmmm?
"Hi guys! You're lovin' me in my super bad mom jeans and fast racing helmet, aren't you? Don't be hatin' on me cuz you're jealous at how hot I look goin' fast. I gots it goin' on yeah uh huh."
