She may have questioned every president from Kennedy through Obama, but there is probably nothing that excited her more than to receive a prize from PA President Mahmoud Abbas and the PLO.
Longtime White House reporter Helen Thomas received a prize in journalism from a representative of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
Thomas, 91, who was forced into retirement two years ago after making controversial remarks about Jews and Israel, was recognized for her journalism career and commitment to the Palestinian cause. Hanan Ashrawi, a member of the Executive Committee of the PLO, presented Thomas with the award on behalf of Abbas, who is also head of the PLO.
According to the Washington PLO office's statement, Thomas was recognized for "all of her actions supporting Palestine in the West." Ambassadors, journalists, human rights activists and American Arab leaders were among those who attended the ceremony at the home of Maen Rashid Ereikat, president of the Commission General of the PLO in Washington.
Considered the dean of the White House press corps, Thomas became embroiled in controversy when she said in a 2010 interview with the blog RabbiLive.com that Jews should "get the hell out of Palestine. Go home, Poland, Germany and America and everywhere else."
Helen Thomas is Exhibit A for society being allowed to create a trap door that we can use to get rid of the truly evil people in America. Her nauseating beliefs makes one wonder how she managed to stay employed for so long despite her obvious and severe anti-Semitism.
No doubt the award will be featured prominently on her office wall - a reminder of how ignoring the blood of innocents has elevated her to such a high standing among terrorists.

Without acknowledgement they vanish like the fog before a new day.
What’s it called? Th Palley?...............
Then let her move there. And a burkha may be more than apropos in her case.
Both parties deprecated seeing her, but one of them would post the photo rather than let the nation survive, and the other would accept viewing the photo rather than let it perish, and the photographs of Helen came.
In before the photos
I bet if we were in WWII, she would be supporting Hitler.
Hold on to your lunch
Damn you! Now I’ll have nightmares.
In this school of war called life, what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
Couldn't happen to a better "journalist."
But I thought that was called the Walter Duranty Excellence in Journalism International Prize...
