Obama Alienates Canada And Mexico At Three Amigos
Investors Business Daily ^ | Apr 3, 2012 | Staff

Obama's neglect of our nearest neighbors and biggest trade partners has created deteriorating relations, a sign of a president who's out of touch with reality. Problems are emerging that aren't being reported.

Fortunately, the Canadian and Mexican press told the real story. Canada's National Post quoted former Canadian diplomat Colin Robertson as saying the North American Free Trade Agreement and the three-nation alliance it has fostered since 1994 have been so neglected they're "on life support."

Energy has become a searing rift between the U.S. and Canada and threatens to leave the U.S. without its top energy supplier.

The Winnipeg Free Press reported that Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper warned Obama the U.S. will have to pay market prices for its Canadian oil after Obama's de facto veto of the Keystone XL pipeline. Canada is preparing to sell its oil to China.

Until now, NAFTA had shielded the U.S. from having to pay global prices for Canadian oil. That's about to change.

SNIP

Excelsior of Mexico City reported that President Felipe Calderon bitterly brought up Operation Fast and Furious, a U.S. government operation that permitted Mexican drug cartels to smuggle thousands of weapons into drug-war-torn Mexico. This blunder has wrought mayhem on Mexico and cost thousands of lives.

The mainstream U.S. press has kept those questions out of the official press conferences, while Obama has feigned ignorance to the Mexicans and hasn't even apologized.

"In short, the summit was a diplomatic disaster for the U.S. and its relations with its neighbors north and south."

Perhaps his frustration with Harper and Calderone refusing to be willing pawns was the root of Barkin' Barak's distemper the last 72 hours. The Prez seems to be losing it: Between his chock full o' lies Ryan Roast at the AP luncheon (where the correspondents refused to laugh at his jokes) and the voiding of Marbury v Madison at the Three Amigos press conference, he appears wobbly, like a spinning top running out of spin.

May he never recover.

I think he’s worse than deadbeat, he’s actively malignant. I don’t call him a traitor, he never had loyalty to this country. It’s bizarre that this anti-American usurper is in the White House.

I truly don't believe that he is even a citizen of this country. He is a foreigner, as would be shown by his college records. He was foisted on this country by the Democrat Party bigwigs, looking only for someone to win the 2008 election.

As a foreigner, Obama is actively wrecking this country.

The MSM is enemy Number 1, and Obama is their creation.

DHS just announced the purchase

Since it is supposed to be ‘civilian’ not ‘military’ AND it is supposed to deal with domestic threats.... 2+2 stuff

This is the time to really turn up the heat...unfortunately the only one doing anything is that judge on the fifth circuit firing that demand over to the DOJ. One should expect to hear something from the gop in the house but of course bonehead is just go along to get along and that dope in the senate has had one too many mint julips. We don’t even hear much from the GOP chairman either.

As that Ruskie commie used to say: What a country.

“It’s a shame the American media didn’t tell us. Instead we had to learn of it in the foreign press.”

Almost everything we learn we have to learn it from the foreign media. Unreal.

On the other hand Juan Hernandez is a white Mexican and he is currently heavily involved with the Mistizo George P. Bush in the GOP Hispanic PAC in Texas.

The previous Mexican President, Vicente Fox, is a ‘white Hispanic’ (half German, half Basque, born in Mexico).

Re: Your Post #1: And in addition to that, if President Calderone of Mexico, excoriated Obozo, say, around Labor Day Weekend and announced that he believes there will be better U.S. / Mexico relations with a Republican Administration....... that could cut into Obozo’s Hispanic vote more than anything.

I doubt it would. If dumbo can get away with killing thousands of Mexicans and still get the support of Hispanics, Calderon saying he would prefer a Republican President wouldn’t make a bit of difference.

I will gladly accept higher gas prices if it causes Obama to lose the election.

Are Hispanics aware about what he is doing?

“Problems are emerging that aren’t being reported.”

That has been the pattern for the last three years. What’s new?

I would imagine so, especially those in western states. I think they probably read Mexican newspapers online and listen to Mexico’s radio stations.

and rising gas prices.

If you think gasoline prices are going up, wait until July or August, when electricity prices will hit all-time highs. If the republicans don't make Obama the star of every one of their congressional, senatorial, and presidential commercials, stating that he was going to bankrupt electrical companies, and how energy prices will necessarily skyrocket, then the republicans deserve to lose every single election.
