I do not like “A Place to Shoot” due to it’s business practices. However, I will say they have built a very safe range with sufficient berms to prevent this type of thing unless there was severe negligence on the part of the shooter.

I smell BS.

The range was there before the golf course. The Golf course knew they were going next to a range. As someone else pointed out, the range has to have safety ceilings for the airport there.

I don’t think this will stand up to expert analysis. Screw the media. They ain’t experts on much of anything

It wouldn’t have been for noise complaints, because there is an AF small arms range even closer to any housing than the private range was. They stay busy, less than three miles from me, and I wake up to the sound of gunfire every morning (they do trap and skeet on the weekends). Love it.

You are applying logic and reason to lawsuits and zoning. They do not necessarily apply.

From Decal:

Go to the range’s website to read their side of this - it won’t make pleasant reading for pro-2A types, but nobody who’s lived in SA since Chairman Julian got elected mayor will be much surprised (”Rifle Range Legal Action” under the Home link).
