There’s a good use and place for all bullets, and no bullets should be outlawed. The circumstances and applications are relevant—not any type of bullet in particular. Case in point: a piece once written against using handloads in defense (ignorance of historical cases and/or bias based on inappropriate interest).

We don’t all live in heavily populated areas, and there are many different kinds of possible scenarios.

The issue is not what type of round or how many rounds are used.....the issue is the willingness of LEO use those rounds at the slightest provocation, or at times with no provocation at all. The physical circumstances of a shooting by LEO ceased to be relevant long ago....the only relevant issue now is “I feared for my life”. That phrase has become a carte blanch statement...a get out of jail for free card.
