FORT SMITH, Ark. -- Fort Smith police have a teen in custody in connection with his mother's stabbing Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to a 911 call at an apartment on Meandering Way where a woman had been stabbed. Police said they found a 55-year-old Natividad Saluten Parker sitting on the porch with stab wounds to her face and neck. She was taken to St. Edward Mercy Medical Center and is in critical but stable condition, police said.

This “teen” isn’t a child; he’s 18 and admitted that he tried to kill his mother. He stabbed her something like 17 times.
Obviously his “self esteem” was so badly hurt that if momma doesn’t like something about him, the acceptable recourse is to try to kill her. Wonder where he learned this? (Yes, that’s rhetorical.)

In Arkansas the minimum mandatory sentence for attempted murder is 6 years.
For First degree battery it is 10 years plus sentence enhancements.
It was later revealed that Tyler had complained that his mother did not accept the fact that he was gay when he came out to his parents days before arriving at Rutgers.
There has been much criticism of the mother by the LGBT community accusing her of being abusive and hateful almost to the verge of calling her rejection of his gayness a crime in itself while at the same time showing no mercy to the roommate convicted of a hate crime in the case.
If they could, I think the LGBT community would want to criminalize parental disapproval of gayness. They're starting by assigning shame on the parents and others who fail to accept children who "come out." The next step is to make it a hate-crime to "disapprove."
The mother in this Arkansas case who was brutally attacked will be attacked a second time by the LGBT extremists who will shame her for failing to accept her son "for who he is" and blame her for practically stabbing herself since her rejection of the boy's gayness forced the boy to try to kill her.
The kid will walk, the mother will apologize to him for not accepting his gayness and forgive him for trying to kill her and he will forgive her for not accepting him "for what he is." They'll both be on Oprah and it will be the feel good story of the year.

It wouldn’t be so bad if it was “just a sexual preference” as many supposedly claim, but it has been expanded into a “lifestyle” unto itself.
Their infantile psychological “need” to not only be “tolerated” but even moreso “completely accepted and validated” to the point that they expect to be placed upon a high pedistal just for the way they live.
This all points to psycologicaly stunted growth combined with massive amounts of narcissism all centered around a mentality of “Look at me, look at me, I am special and you will LOVE ME, otherwise you are a Homophobe!”

I think that will be the new term the left will use to describe an American of Hispanic origin who is a Conservative who has supposedly “sold out their race” by holding conservative views.
