This is because Romney is a creature of the Bush family legacy— beginning with the one-term G.H.W.Bush— who called Reaganomics— “voodoo”. Recall that it was Jeb Bush who declared the “era of Reagan” is over.... really, Jeb? Says who? And look at the lineup of losers— McCain, Dole, and... Ann Coulter? What idiotic bedfellows and desperate paper floggers. Anyone think Romney will be saying “read my lips” and then tax us as he preserves the ever expanding useless govt.?
GHW “Bush” dismantled everything Reagan had begun to strip away —the nightmares Nixon made for us so that the press would “love” him (and they never did, in fact ran him out)— the Dept. of Education and the EPA for starters. Now look where we are with these horrors- our food being policed by the EPA- and bales of hay being declared airborne/waterborne pollutants (really did this), and government schools that have created generations of “occupy” little bastards of the entitlement class on the federal teat.
The Bushes are NOT conservatives (maybe Jeb a little, due to his “property” business). They are Establishment— democrat psuedo conservatives like the Hahhvahhd/Yale club or the country club, or the “hunt” club with “firearms are for hunting” concepts of the 2nd Amendment. Their idea of a “conservative” is a massachussets Bain Consulting, or Boston Consulting son of a former old bull republican (Romney Sr, who was ALWAYs against the Goldwater wing, which became Reagan wing of the party)- a consultant, who they think can be “managed” by the shadow establishment of Foggy Bottom. The relationship resembles that of Howard Hughes and his vegas “managers”. It is NIXON, all over again!
I am sick of this, and which branch of the establishment is allowed to proceed with a rubber stamp from the “free” media.
This is not a done deal, though. The republican convention will be brokered— in FLORIDA! You want to see riots— wait until Charlotte and the Bank of Obamamerica stadium rally for the ONE who brought us to this point with his intentional Marxist/Alinskyist policies and race tactics— turning the US into one giant community to organize. Summer is not yet here, and it is looking like democrat Chicago 1968 convention. All part of the “scare the chickens” plan.
There are also some other very major differences—the internet and prepared activist conservatives who are not going to take this, and who fear we are losing this country to the New World Order RomneyBushes of this life. A “cartel” of proper jackasses and railroad lawyers who do not deserve to have office to appoint more Stephen Breyers to consult other country’s laws instead of our own, for judicial fiat.
The chosen RINO elite— Lord save us from them and their agenda (apparently we are to emulate the decayed British Raj—National Healthcare, with an Indian SC governor— Nikki Haley—as VP selection, while we can be assured that ROMNEYCARE will prevail- in a new form- to preserve the RINO rule and cost shift their margins to the taxpayers—republicans that democrats can be comfortable with). There has to be an accounting at the convention-it is not a done deal and shouldn’t be.

No doubt. I find myself amazed more and more these days. And, I thought I’d seen just about everything in my nearly 65 years of helping to keep humankind warm. Some of the things that I read and hear are, like you said, head shakers. I’m starting to feel like one of those bobble heads. Gettin’ kinda’ dizzy here.
Apologies don’t matter once the initial lie is out of the gate. Ever notice that newspaper retractions are always buried on page 17 in the lower left hand corner with nothing to direct you to where it is? I think it was Mark Twain who said that a lie makes it half way around the world before truth even gets it’s pants on. So true. First lie wins. Almost always. Like 99%. If an apology comes on TV it’s muttered or in a letter to the public who never sees the letter or is told there is one.

Most conservatives feel that liberals and conservatives should be able to defend themselves.
It is only liberals, elite and otherwise who think they should have the right of self-defense when they want it, and nobody else should.
I don’t see how your post has any bearing whatsoever.
- Three networks doctored evidence and presented it to the public as fact.
- Race baiters descended on Sanford putting out threats and a bounty for Zimmerman dead or alive.
- In Congress, people like Mad Maxine called Zimmerman a murderer and claimed he hunted down Martin and shot him like a dog.
The networks and race baiters (sometimes one and the same)have screwed up big time. They have irreparably tainted the jury pool across this entire country. Zimmerman cannot get a fair trial anywhere. Unless he has an all black jury of Black Panthers, the jury is going to be hung. This is the kind of case that could lead to actual fist fights between blacks and whites in the jury room. Thanks, Obama.
