There's a sign in my U.S. Post Office substation stating "Baseball caps and sun glasses must be removed". A similar sign is in my bank. These dictates are enforced.

This is so everyone's face is legible on the security cameras in case of hold-ups or someone going postal.

No hoodies should be allowed in polling places for any number of reasons.
