At the Democratic convention four years ago, her spirited speech helped unite the party behind Barack Obama. And four years from now, many Democrats hope she’ll be the White House nominee delegates rally around.
But as for the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte – Hillary Clinton won’t be coming.
This year, she’s secretary of State. And as the country’s chief diplomat, she’s expected to stay above all things partisan.
Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, will be at the DNC in Charlotte, his spokesman, Matt McKenna, confirmed Friday.
But various federal statutes and the State Department’s ethical guidelines will keep Secretary Clinton in Washington.

It used to be that way for US Supreme Court Justices too.
Not to worry, she has several million proxies.
Ethics boundaries. Wow is that something she learned at the Rose Law firm? or perhaps she can’t remember where she put her DNC invitation.
Where sooner or later will ask Obama to get him another cup of coffee . . . LoL!
You see, the fix is in. By the time the Convention rolls around, Obama is going to be heading for certain defeat, and it will be clear that if he is on the ticket in November, the Democrats down the ticket will get a drubbing of legendary proportions.
So the Donks are going to pull a Torricelli Switch.
Named after former Senator Robert Torrielli if New Jersey. The way it works is you wait until after the filing deadlines for the fall elections have passed, and then the candidate drops out. You spend the next three weeks in court, fighting against the eeeeevil Republicans, who want ot keep the Democrat off the ballot. Then you name your candidate around October 1, and she wins in a sprint to the finish.
That replacement will be Hillary Clinton, and she will win in November.
But in order for this to happen, Hillary! must be nowhere near Obama when he falls. She will probably be in Mongolia or someplace equally remote when it all goes down.
I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you're not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration.
Must say I agree with your analysis!!! Obama is going down big time.....and if the Democrat Party does not ditch him, it will go down to a devastating political defeat!!!
But.....the real pain will be felt by American Blacks, rightly or wrongly for many years to come!!! Sorry to say......these folks will be adrift at sea for decades to come, for falling in lock-step with the would be , destroyer of America, Barack Hussein Obama. The only thing that will save them is to broom Obama into and down the toilet flush to forever obscurity, where he rightfully belongs!!!
Bill Clinton will lead the disposal of BHO with glee and revenge.....and.....wife Hillary Clinton will have center stage all to herself!!! Notice how Bill Clinton has distanced himself from radioactive Obama!!! A plan is afoot, and....it is alive and well in the hearts and heads of many Democrats.
She is going to rest up and have plastic surgery.

I seem to recall she just dissed the GOP field to foreigners, which is worse than partisan, IMO.
