WASHINGTON - US President Barack Obama has signaled Tehran that the Washington would accept an civilian nuclear program in Iran if Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei can back up his recent claim that his nation “will never pursue nuclear weapons,” the Washington Post reported Friday.
According to the report, the verbal message was sent through Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who met with Khamenei last week. A few days prior to leaving for the trip, Erdogan held a two-hour meeting with Obama on the sidelines of the nuclear security summit in Seoul, in which they discussed what the Turkish leader would tell Khamenei about the nuclear issue.

So, basically, the Iranians have lied about their nuclear program all along. However, Obama is willing to accept a "pinky promise" they won't use it to build a bomb.

Obama is ruthlessly anti-Israel to the point of ‘outing’ beyond top-secret details on Israeli military positions and strengths.
In my opinion, he is ‘actively’ pro-Iranian, not only with the nuclear issue but, with everything in general. He just loves Iran. The oddest thing about this is his Islam comes primarily from Indonesia and Kenya which are primarily Sunni. I'm not sure where he picked up this penchant for Shia'ism. But, who really knows who he is anyway or where he really comes from?
I am sure these is not sitting well with those fools and idiots in Riyadh who gave him a gold medal. But then again, Obama made fools and idiots out of very, very, many people.

Like I have said before, we have a gutless and unwilling populace, as well. If Obama can get away with high treason, and the media can get away as an accomplice, then anyone can do it. We ourselves have to change this, no elected politician, can or will.
Get your guns, get to DC, demand impeachment of Obama, rebuild congress from the ground up. Take away their pay, and impose term limits. If they can shit on the constitution to impose their agenda, then we need to restore it using force. The time for talk and niceties is over, because it is obvious no one is going to stop this man and his cronies, his blatant disregard for the law is disgusting.

This has always been our policy, even under Pres. Bush.

I think it is what the Treaty says (the Nuclear Proliferation one, can’t think of the name now) that countries can have peaceful nuclear power- but I may be very wrong. The problem, of course, is that one can work for nuclear power or weapons, and at first, it cannot be proven which way one will go.
The sad truth is that Obama could hand deliver nukes to Iran wrapped in paper with bows on top and he'd still get 90+ percent of the Jewish vote.
When it comes to Jewish American voters, Israel takes a back seat to liberalism. Always has.

I personally am convinced Obama think it is morally right for Iran to have nuclear weapons, because like the U.S., Russia, China, Britain, and France, they are just another country. I am convinced Obama believes while some consider Iran a rouge state, there are many who consider other declared and undeclared nuclear states like North Korea, Pakistan, India, and Israel to be rouge states. I am convinced Obama thinks it is only "fair" for Iran to have nuclear weapons if Israel does.
I also think secretly Obama utterly hates Israel, and would have no qualms if it were brought down to size (1967 or 1948 borders), or simply wiped off the map. I am convinced Obama believes all of the ill which has happened in the middle east occurred after 1948, and therefore is the fault of the existence of Israel, and the United States support of Israel.
Obama must be defeated in November.
I reckon Congress can thwart this by simply declaring war against Iran.
Who asked us anyway? No one called. They’re an exporter of terrorism and kil their citizens who don’t toe the mullah line. So, again how will we know it’s a civilian nuke plant(s)? We don’t and they really want that caliphate so I’m just a LITTLE cynical on this.

IF we get thru this next election cycle and zero wins, I’ll be re-evaluating my prep plans. Our greatest threat is our own government. If zero doesn’t have to worry about re-election, it’s game over.
