According to the FBI's most recent statistics, where available, twice as many whites are murdered by blacks, numerically, as blacks by whites in the U.S. In the case of 2010 (where reported) 447 vs 218.
This means, statistically, that a black (man in this case) is well over 100% more likely to kill a white man than the other way around.
BUT WAIT! This math is not complete.
Let us also remember that blacks are a "minority" population, representing only 12.8% of the US population.
Suppose not so different in Florida.
If we devise a "killing per race per race pop" (Kpop) ratio we get:
Kpop 447/12.8 = Kpop factor 34.9 for black on white and Kpop 218/87.2 = Kpop factor 2.5 for white on black murders.
What that means is that an individual black man is fourteen times, or 1400%, as likely to murder a white man than the other way around.
And while we await facts on the Zimmerman case...
Whites cower at the threat of a "black riot for justice."

I wonder how many of the white on black killings are the result of defensive action vs. the black on white defensive killings?
That statistic is probably not available, so any comment would only be speculation, albeit informed speculation.
For example, I don’t recall even one home invasion by whites on a black home or in black neighborhoods. Sadly, I read about blacks invading white homes in white neighborhoods with some regularity.

Yes, they fit the age group for high crime rates.
But when compared to other college graduates their age, I'll bet their crime rate is at least 5 times higher.
And that's just for arrests.
People don't get caught each time they break the law.
I'll bet the “lawless” rate for NFL players is 10 times higher than college grads in their age group.
People who are arrested didn't always commit, get charged or get convicted of a crime.
I am sorry I cheated on my girlfriend in high school...I'm 50 years old now - I should be able to live without the guilt.
ps...I think if anything, considering that the African blacks sold the African black slaves to us, and the state of Africa over the past 100 years, I'm far more inclined to try to undo the damage we did to the American Indian...ya know, Manifest Destiny, and all...

Well in any case I disagree with you about the wheelchair ramps (although there should be exemptions for very small businesses perhaps) and remind you that the great slave wholesalers were in fact Arabs.
And who sold to the wholesalers? Much more often than not, warring black chieftains or the chieftains themselves.
This by way of mentioning that with few exceptions, the American “First People” were also prone to slaughter and sell each other into slavery. You think they learned warfare from fighting the “White Man?”
White Guilt is a very real thing, but as for myself I am tired of it. My ancestors were slaughtered in Europe. We never had slaves. I am smart enough to know that only a tiny percentage of CSA soldiers came from families that had anything at all to do with slaves. Every time somebody tries to get me to ride a Trail of Tears or Underground Railroad I feel like puking. I am F’n sick of it.

Very clever, I think. You are right, but I am not sure how to figure that into the general idea, which is that it seems ridiculous for American blacks to bitch about a white-on-black crime.
(if it was a crime.)
