As you imply, the likely motivation for a white to kill random blacks would be anger over the fatal attack on the elderly white couple. Relations between Americans of all descriptions are rapidly spiraling out of control. Anger is the dominant emotion and is fanned by race baiting demagogues. No one is interested in solving any problems, they want to capitalize on discord and amp up the hatred.
For the black community to constructively address black on black crime, they would have to come to grips with the hip hop gangsta culture and that just isn’t going to happen. The number of committed white racists is comparatively small but growing. I don’t have much hope for the future, particularly with this populist/socialist/racist president who plans on riding discord for four more years of power (maybe more).
