I agree. If Chavez is TRULY sincere and God chooses to be merciful to him and heal him both physically and spiritually, then my prayer would be that Chavez serve Christ with as much ferver as he used to serve communism. We must remember the example of Paul’s Damascus Road conversion.

I am not a doctor, but my father died of cancer of the bone marrow (Myeloma) and it is an awful way to go. It is very painful and your bones fall apart. He will be lucky if it’s spread to his colon and that takes him sooner, I would not wish Myeloma on anyone ( well almost anyone). Treatment now isn’t a lot better than it was 35 years ago. It is always a terminal disease.

Thank the Lord when they find Him at all. I have no personal respect for Hugo Chavez, and I am praying that the cancer takes him soon. But if he truly finds the Lord after Romans 10_9-10, that will be a good thing.

In case of Latin America, most of them are religious even when they are Communist. Understandable as their religion is Catholicism which is the hotbed of Communism/Socialism. Think Michael Moore.
Last I knew heck wasn't a place. Hell is though, is that what you meant? Why be such a namby pamby about it. Hell is a word used every day by ministers. I have yet to hear one condemn anyone to heck though.
