Video of a white man being stripped and beaten outside what appears to the Baltimore courthouse has sparked outrage on the Internet.
CBS Baltimore reports the man was a tourist in town for St. Patrick’s Day, on his way back to the hotel after a night out. He was intercepted on the way by a group of “hoodlums,” punched in the jaw and sent flying to the concrete with a sickening thud.
Then, instead of helping him, onlookers laughed and stripped him naked– stealing his car keys, watch, phone, and anything else of value.

If this happened to a tourist in a foreign country, we’d be shocked. In the U.S., we worry about it happening to us.

This is a virulent form of racism in itself: we should and must expect more of all of our young people. I have seen thousands of young black men and women working honestly and honorably in the military service, so this behavior is not anything intrinsic.
Failing to seriously investigate and punish and rehabilitate the people who commit crimes like this does no service to our country or any group. Real equality come from expecting precisely the same standards of performance from everyone.
My hope was that when Obama became President he would begin to address these behaviors, have gone a’glimmering. The President of hope and change is just one more of the same old civil rights grievence mongers.
A wasted opportunity. He could have used his post to go into the black neighborhoods and demand respect for education and family values...instead, he’s just another divider.

They should perform better in the military where they are kept on a chain (of command).

Rehabilitate? Puhleeze! These yutes are raised like feral animals, and they live like feral animals. They are scum because the government handout programs given to them and the prior two or three generations have left them wholly devoid of any marketable skills, and made them fully dependent on the gubmint for their meager subsistence. They fill the time in their lives by preying on the weak and defenseless who ignorantly stray into their path.
There is no rehabilitation in the current social, PC climate.

How come is it that they say “white” for the victim, but ignore the fact that a dozen “Blacks” did the deed? PC?
