The smartest president in history?
Philadelphia Inquirer ^ | April 8, 2012 | by George Parry

Posted on 04/08/2012 5:40:42 AM PDT by Oldeconomybuyer

Despite 40 years of practicing law, I am no expert when it comes to arguing appeals. But I do know enough not to gratuitously insult and try to humiliate the appellate judges who will decide my client's case.

Apparently they don't teach those fundamentals at Harvard Law School. How else to explain the absolutely boneheaded attempts by President Obama, a past president of the Harvard Law Review, to intimidate the U.S. Supreme Court as it decides the constitutional fate of Obamacare?

And he did this when anyone who could see past his next meal knew that Obamacare, which was being shoved through the Congress, would ultimately wind up before that very same court.

As we used to say in the Organized Crime Strike Force, "That's smart, Freddo, really smart."

How could a president of the United States of America, of all people, not know something so basic about our system of government? Where has he been all these years? Kenya?

How can the so-called smartest president in history be so out of touch with human nature, common sense, and reality as to think that he can intimidate a coordinate branch of government - composed of judges with life tenure - by advancing such a baseless and preposterous argument as the one that he trumpeted to the media?

Now that the president has made a complete fool of himself in public, is it too much to ask that the mainstream media, at long last, begin to question and investigate his much-vaunted credentials as our Genius-in-Chief?

Yep 180, I found it through a google search. It will show up on a few websites re: Smartest People Ever.

And of course it's a lie, he's never taken any IQ test (in this country anyway) and his low IQ is likely exposed in his college transcripts which are now all Top Secret.

George Parry is a former state and federal prosecutor practicing law in Philadelphia

BIG bump to the top.

This piece is well worth reading.

Obama knew fully well what he was doing. He was demogoguing. He was arguing his “case” before the millions of loyal Obamatons for whom the constitution means nothing, and the wealth of the country is just a giant piggy bank which they are allowed to raid at will.

I think you are right--this is all about making this a campaign issue to rally his base.

If the Court rejects Obamacare, or major portions of it, on a 5-4 vote, then the Democrats can ask for votes to ensure that the next vacancy is filled by another hardline leftist.

If they were to have a majority in both houses of Congress and the White House next year, I could see them trying to impeach Clarence Thomas for not recusing himself, but I don't see Thomas resigning and they wouldn't have a large enough number in the Senate to remove him.

Interesting.

No matter how many stupid remarks and blunders the Kenyan Clown makes, his apologists come out of the woodwork defending his intelligence and perspicacity.

Notice that Vice President Biden, equally prone to doltish remarks, does not get any such defenders of his intelligence.

Navy GCT prior to 10/80 68
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

The highest possible score on that test was 76. I scored 73. I met maybe three during my hitch who had scored 74 and I heard a rumor that someone had scored 75, I never even heard a rumor of a 76. It was 76 questions with 1 point for each correct answer.

The purpose of Dictator Baby-Doc Barack is simple: 1.) Regulate; 2.) Control; and 3.) Destroy. By his own count he as achieved 60 % of his goals.

His deep hatred of America could have only come from his childhood.

Since there are no known networks of childhood friends from Obama’s past, Obama was probably a member of a Marxist sleeper cell funded by wealthy men with a Marxist view of the World.

The lack of credible evidence that has NOT been forged requires a long-term, highly skilled and well-funded support group.

Who the key members of Obama’s probable support group and probable sleeper cell were and are is well known to the CIA and the FBI.

Will the “Citizen Journalists” such as Breitbart Editor Joel Pollack be able to out-spy these two tax-funded spy entities?

BTW, forget about the LAM, (Liberal Agenda Media), as they are saving their notes to write their tell-all Obama books after Obama has SAFELY retired back home in Kenya.

BTW, BTW, to all the doubters of the above speculation: what does your gut tell you?

What he is doing is, setting up a campaign theme that "the reckless "republican" court has stolen away your right to lifesaving decent healthcare. Those cruel bastards. Now vote for me, I'll fight them every day to make sure you get the healthcare you need at an affordable price."

That's all it is. He knows what he's saying and doing, and he doesn't care if we think he's stupid. We are not his audience. His audience is the ignorant uneducated parasite class who never heard of Marbury v Madison or "judicial review" and who don't care about anything like that. They number in the tens of millions.

Well, Obama is not stupid, but he's no genius either. He is sort of animal clever, like a weasel who traps prairie dogs in their holes, but in 2008 any decent raptor would have had him for lunch. Instead he arranged to go up against a doddering dodo bird.

IQ-wise he would not measure up, particularly on the nonverbal sections where he shows no aptitude at all, but also on verbal measures like fund of information.

I have administered many IQ tests, and know some folks in the 150 range. Obama's intellect is like swiss cheese--looks good on the surface but holes all through it. I'd give him 120. Maybe.

My worry is that Kagan has already told Obama that he won the first vote and he’s grandstanding to make it look like he won by scaring the court.

Whoa! Hadn't thought of that one ..... damn, that is ugly to think about.

OTOH, they can change their votes, yes?

Maybe he sees it as win-win. Either they give him the ability to make an appearance of the Court knuckling under, or he can go the other way with the "five old men!" rant.

Keep in mind that CJ Roberts is known to be allergic to 5-4 "controversial and divisive" (i.e., conservatives win) SCOTUS decisions. So if it's close, and Kennedy swings over to the 'Rat side, Roberts might join them just to make the decision 6-3 and give the appearance of a united Supreme Court.

Obama's campaign suggests he knows this and, in addition to everything heretofore stipulated and speculated, may be trying to blackmail Kennedy and Roberts, using the Court's good name as leverage. His offer could be, "look, you can't stand another Bush/Gore flame war, so roll over while you can and make it 6-3 my way, or there'll be nothing left of your institutional prestige when I'm done with you."

If he is determined to make trouble, then there are so many arrows in his quiver, and so many possible avenues, you can go nuts thinking about them.

Most likley it was one of the first few, Adams, Jefferson, Madison.

I heard TR was smart too.

Allegedly Garfield could write in Latin in one hand while writing in Greek with the othe but that sounds apocryphal to me.

Democrats would probably say Wilson.

Yes, I know this thread isn’t really about the question in the headline but it’s more interesting than talking about Obama.

Obama just happens to be an engineered political agent thats been groomed to be infiltrated to the highest office in America, a combination of incredible luck, an unlimited funding account by the secret alliance of Islam and Communism, veiled, direct and even outright murder to protect his identity combined with gullibility of American voters believing in a false messiah.

The best solution would be for Obama to have some electro shock therapy and erase his own past memory of brainwashing through his whole life.

Either that or lock him in a room and play The Brady Bunch non stop 24/7 for a week.

Is Harvard Law School resting on their laurels - coasting on a reputation earned many years ago?

Obama's an example of their ‘product’ - what other evidence do we need?
