Never happen BEFORE the elections. And Obama will point to it as Romney being on the side of ObamaCare - an argument his media minions will gleefully spread far and wide.
IMHO, we need to push for a brokered convention. Even if it doesn't happen, we need to take the fight, long and hard, to RINO elitists within the Party.
My dog barfed twice. But his barf is worse than his bite.
That phrase, as always, has been re-instituted to "PROVIDE the General Welfare".
Whereas the Founders' Intent was to stay out of the way of people living their lives on their own, without intrusion, and for the Government to make sure they didn't stand in the way, people now want EVERYTHING "FREE", as long as OTHERS are forced to pay for it.
I dont care HOW MUCH everyone can have; just don't make ME pay for it, you dumbass.....
It would be Romney's only chance in November. Super Deligates will keep a brokered convention from happening.
This woman is a lying POS or an ignorant idiot.
Every woman in this country has access to 'preventive services' in order to stay healthy. The discussion right now is just who is going to pay for it. The poor in this country have access to healthcare through government assistance already. The people who are being squeezed are those in the middle who find paying $15K a year for their family's health insurance very difficult.
There are many ways to make healthcare more affordable. The abomination known as Obamacare is not one of them.
The “great uniter” just continuing the community organizer tactic of us against them to further his agenda. He has no interest in doing what's best for all Americans or lifting all boats, just his chosen group no matter who has to be made the enemy to achieve his goals.
Women are more important than men. And ever so many of them know it.
Merchants and the Business Roundtable think so, too. That's why the men you see on TV, in sitcoms and rom-coms and advertisements, are idiots.
(Seen on TV: a show rating a small group of men competitively as diaper-changers.)
I wonder how long ago her phone rang, with a Barry Soetoro staffer or General Secretary Nancy Pelosi on the other end, asking this woman to write this steaming load with its embedded, agenda-compliant attack on the Court. Indeed, it may have been written for her. It's a pretty smooth steaming load, vide the quote.
It smells like the Flukerbot attack on the Catholic Church -- which was Nancy's deal. Get a woman to stand up and be a stiff, a mouthpiece, for the eyes-glow-in-the-dark people in the Administration.
Buck Owens is crying somewhere.
Of course they can.The teachings of the Columbia School of "Journalism" can spread just as easily, and as widely,as syphilis. As a former resident of this city, I beleive this proves that even a newspaper in a conservative area can be liberal. - bestintxas
I will go further, and assert that there is no such thing as conservative journalism. Not, that is, anything which the membership of the Associated Press would recognize as journalism. The AP definition of journalism requires recognition of AP journalism as objective. AP journalism claims objectivity, but self=claimed objectivity is intrinsically oxymoronic. If you are actually trying to be objective, you discipline yourself to be open to a critique of any possible interest you may have in the subject you are trying to be objective about. Taking your own objectivity for granted is the opposite of doing so, and as such it is the very definition of subjectivity.
Claiming objectivity is IMHO close to perfectly analogous to claiming wisdom. The Sophists of ancient Greece claimed wisdom, and became notorious for their sophistry (and the origin of the very word itself). The classical method of rebutting the sophists is to reject any claim of possession of wisdom, and to claim only to love wisdom - thereby drawing the discussion away from credentialism and focusing it on the facts and logic relevant to the issue at hand. The approach of the lover of wisdom - philosopher in Greek - is the only approach which has any chance of success standing against our modern objective journalism. If you insist on facts and logic you are pretty certain to be labeled a conservative in America today.
