I have never imagined such hatred as exists in the hearts of some blacks toward people of other races.
It isn't just racist...it is white-hot hatred. Even during WWII, I don't think the various opposing armies and peoples hated each as much as this.

This clearly frightens me for the sake of my family that lives in the area. Are your daughter’s friends planning to lay low on Monday, or will they go about life in the usual way? I am not there and it is hard to gauge the situation. Any info would be appreciated.

Importantly, this is state law, not federal law. I doubt the state of Florida will treat radicals who come from out of state to riot with a whole lot of respect.

Absolutely they can stay with me! I was wondering if this is the time to insist they do. It will be a hard sell if they don’t feel immediate danger. But if others have info about the situation that might change her mind, then I can pass it along. I trust my daughter to make good decisions. Nonetheless, I would just like to transport them all here.
