SANFORD, Fla. - A group of students protesting the Trayvon Martin shooting on Monday blocked the entrance to the Sanford Police Department by kneeling in front of the doors, forcing the department to close.
No arrests have been made in the Monday protest, which comes a day after the students, who call themselves the Dream Defenders, completed a 40-mile, three-day march from Daytona Beach to Sanford, where Martin, 17, was shot and killed by neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman in late February.

Midday today @ SFD office, there were approximately 30 “protestors” at SPD, one black SPD policeman, observing and a camera crew/reporters(2). There were what could have been 8-10 people just loitering/taking photos, etc.
Also on Local TV Provider/ BrightHouse Networks show tape of Protestors walking on side of road . Waking same direction as Traffic. Then followed with an answer to a question if it’s illegal to walk facing traffic on a highway?
The answer given by a Florida State Trooper was it is Illegal to walk on the side of a roadway, in the same direction as the flow of traffic. A walker has to face oncoming traffic.
Who would have thought they would not abide by all laws.
Too bad these "meddling kids" don't put this much effort into their school work.
A couple of dozen protesters and 1/2 of ‘em are 3X-Plus sized couch patatoes and old hippies. What a pack of drama-queen losers.
Fifty thousand citizens elected the Sanford city government - but less than 50 LIBERAL ELITES from around the country - - are better AND MORE IMPORTANT than those 50,000 citizens. If liberal elites want to close a city down, that's their right.

Can the police spread out in different locations in the city and just let those idiots stand out in the heat?
Police would still be police but they would just fan out so the “students” won’t be able to hassle dispersed LEO and the public would have LEO.
Every day they can set different locations within districts, so the “students” won’t able to know where LEO is - a police flash mob, so to speak.
The ‘protesters’ are looking for a fight - these 50 people basically represent themselves - fight them and their numbers will double. Ignore them and they’ll go away...
No matter what the police do the msm will make them look bad.
