During Sunday’s broadcast of “CNN Newsroom,” correspondent Susan Candiotti — the reporter covering the recent shootings of five black men in Tulsa, Okla. — used a racial slur on live television.
Candiotti used the “n” word while reading aloud what one of the suspects in the shooting, 19-year-old Jacob England, wrote recently on his Facebook page.
“Now, this, according to relatives, has troubled him ever since and CNN has also discovered what police have,” Candiotti said. “There was a Facebook posting made just the other day, written by the suspect in this case, that police are examining.”

She was (on orders) deliberately putting the N word out in the MSM spoken by non blacks for the purpose of offending blacks and having them perceive that this is the normal American society that speaks this way.
Blacks (and guilty whites) offended in this manner will likely be motivated to vote for Obama in November much more than they are now, despite his disastrous policies.
You will see the white liberal MSM talking heads bouncing the N word regularly under cover of a quote, without consequence, until election day.

We all are adults and know that the real word is ‘nigger’. It is almost always a horrible racial slur and I refuse to use the word in reference to anyone. However, it is just silly to go around saying “the N word”. Who are we fooling? It seems to be The Word That Nobody Can Utter, even more so than when some people will write G-d instead of God. Again, we are being so polite we look like children.

That’s an interesting theory. Since she did it intentionally it was either a screw-up (think it wasn’t going out live) or to make a point, as any rational person with a mic in their hand wouldn’t do this otherwise.

Just curious, does anyone know when the “n-word” went from being merely an offensive word, that no decent person would refer to another person as, to an actual curse word that can’t be used on TV or in print, even when quoting another person.
Not too long ago, it was common to quote others as saying it, or use the word while debating whether books containing it should be allowed in schools.
As recently as the O.J. Simpson trial, the full word was used both in court and by the media when discussing Mark Fuhrman’s testimony, so it had to be some time after that.
