Looks like Derby is casting off the PC restraints after his exit from NR.

Ann Coulter said it best (before she lost her mind): "Diversity is an obstacle to overcome, not a goal to be achieved."

My old tagline confirmed: Multiculturalism is killing us.

Here is a thing that General Wesley Clark, then the supreme commander of the NATO alliance, said back in 1999. The subject was the NATO bombing of Serbia: “Cultural diversity within a nation causes nothing but trouble—what could be more obvious?”

The only references to that quote I found online are linked to this article.

What Clark was actually saying in 1999 was "There is no place in modern Europe for ethnically pure states. That's a 19th-century idea and we are trying to transition it into the 21st century, and we are going to do it with multiethnic states."

Clark's view may have been wrong. Derbyshire's attribution almost certainly is.

I discovered Derbishire late last week and have spend a few great evenings reading his recent output on several sites and formats.

His article was in response to a vaguely referenced "Talk" attributed to Blacks, which presumably takes place widely as the result of "a fear of the police," once reaching a certain age, or "profiling" specifically, which has come to mean shooting random black boys for no reason other than being black. The only specific example of the original "talk" that I have found is this one...

The original "Talk?"

Which is not exactly the epitome of consistency or coherence.

My comprehension of English and common sense considers Derbyshire's response as suitably restrained, and factually unassailable.
