Jim Rob Is Right - But Conservatives Here Have TWO Jobs To Do!

First - blow off that feeling that we're going to lose, or already have lost! No, we're going to WIN.

First item of business, get invovlved in the Tea Party movement, and give D.C. a whole new influx of conservatives in Congress similar in size and importance to that of the last election - thereby blocking any of Obamas chances of having Congressional support for his machinations. Note too, the Tea Party used the GOP vehicle, not a third party. Reason, third parties are losers, because they don't have the national organization and presence large enough to compete.

FReepers need to get involved locally. There are tens of thousands of empty seats in local district Committees of the GOP across this nation - caused mostly by conservative appathy! Just by showing up regularly, you can be assured of gaining a seat from which you can VOTE - go to your county committees and vote there - and go to your state party conventions and vote there! (I personally helped see the ouster of liberal GOP control of the California GOP. Yes it was hard work, but we won - and that win has been, and can be duplicated in these perilous times through the 'hard work' of just SHOWING UP!)

Conservatives have a chance to block Obama, if not replace him. We CAN do that, but conservatives can not win by voting third-party - it's a throw-away vote that nets nothing.

The current GOP-E is NOT the friend of FREEDOM - but they are a very tiny group of RINO's that we can beat the snot out of - simply by doing what we can at the local district and state level. We - FReepers, and other dedicated conservatives - can and have ultimately fielded who becomes part of the GOP establishment. We need to OWN it like we did in the Reagan era, not destroy it through lack of attention to our God given orders to be 'watchmen on the wall' of who become our leaders.

No - it's not too late to shoulder your own responsibility - and earn your own right to say, 'I have fought the good fight, and WE WON.' There will be many opportunities in coming days to 'get involved' - don't let them slip by. Take advantage of the huge opportunities - you can, and will make a difference! It is quite fulfilling to debate hated RINO's FACE TO FACE - WIN when the vote is tallied - and see them denied a seat in party or public office!

Last but not least - we ALL need to get behind our Freepathon. Isn't it worth at least a dollar per day to you to come here, read, post, laugh and debate? Yes, I know, times are rough, and the 'cost of living' has gone way up. But, I'll bet you blow a lot on chocolate cake and ice cream or (insert your favorite deserts) - I, unfortunately, do! So let's all try to push this FReepathon toward an early completion - it might help save your waistline! LOL

I agree with you. I do not support Romney but I will vote for him. If that gets me banned so be it.

I would rather have a chance of fighting Romney than no chance of fighting the idiot we have now.

Personally, I think it’s likely that we have already passed the point of no return. Whoever our next President is, it seems very likely to me that that person will be presiding over a severe crisis that we cannot yet fully define. It is likely to be the most severe since at least the Civil War, and possibly even worse.

We can’t KNOW that for certain, of course, until after the fact. We have an obligation to keep trying to save the situation. It would be great, for instance, if we could throw out the entire “Republican” establishment and replace it with an actual conservative political party. Failing that, it would be nice to establish a viable third party.

Good luck with that...

.
.

To put it into a familiar word picture:

The Titanic (our nation) has already hit the iceberg. It’s too late for replacing the Captain of the ship to do any good.

The passengers do not yet know the outcome, but the Captain is assuring us that he can solve the problem.

The band plays on, and most of the passengers are determined to ignore the warning signs all around them. But some of the passengers are already heading for the lifeboats.

You don’t KNOW that whatever Romney tries in order to fix things is going to fail. Based on our experiences during the past 3+ years, we KNOW that whatever Obama is going to do is going to further damage our country.

Given a 100% certainty of disaster (if Obama wins) and ANYTHING less than 100% (if Romney wins), I’ll take the less than 100%.

Romney can become our collective enemy after January, 2013. Now, our focus should be on getting that !@(*# Obama out of office.

Sad, indeed. Hillary is and would be worse. As hard as it is to imagine being worse than Obama. America likely will be forever transformed if Obama wins again. Next to no chance to ever get the Constitution back into honored esteem and use as the foundation of our nation. The genie can not be put back in the bottle. We are out numbered now by the food stamp, welfare, the check comes in the mail, numbers, voter fraud, and the immigrants wanting America's generosity's, etc....

We are out numbered, the UN is or will soon be in charge of the International World Governments. Those that have not ... will take what America has without so much as recognition of how it came to be. Guns will be registered, then collected, ... It happened in England, Australia (who would have believed that?), etc. I am usually a very optimistic person, the Bible tells us about the terrible times of the very last days ... it is coming. Woe to those that live then. It appears it is us.

Let us believe for the grace of God to forgive America our sins, and turn back to our LORD in true repentance and seek forgiveness. God promises to heal our land if we sincerely do this. There is no other way, in truth.

We are to serve our LORD by obeying loving, praising and worshiping our LORD and His commands. We have turned from God. Help us LORD, we cry out for mercy. In Jesus name, amen.

—Except that the captain of the Titanic went down with the ship. I thought you began the analogy by saying that you didn’t expect Obama to finish his term. —

The analogy was about a single point: No matter who the captain is, the ship is going down. His powers are very limited.

Me, I’m using deck chairs and nails to make my family’s own life raft. I’m not that interested in who the captain is.

Right on my friend and brother!
Thanks for bringing us all back to the real Truth in this entire matter. Yes, it does look like we are the ones that will face this scriptural truth. A truth I have heard since my birth!
Jesus is coming again!

But that is the least of our problems, unfortunately. Kicking the captain off the Titanic doesn’t suddenly right the ship.

You nailed it FRiend. Thomas Jefferson could win in 2012 and we'd still not have a republic.

If Reagan had won in 1968, it might be a different story. Or, possibly, if he'd picked Kemp in '80. But, this ship sank long ago.

Obama? No. I disagree. He's snubbed the US Constitution with every chance. It's doubtful he will even abide by the USSC decision on Obamacare if that decision is not to his liking. Remember, this man has ignored proving his eligibility. Remember, this man ignores Congress and takes orders from the UN. Sorry, we're not going to block Obama. I have my doubts he'll be out of office after Jan 20th 2016.

We need to vote Obama OUT in a landslide in November and that is NOT going to happen if it's Mitt Romney going against him.

Obama’s powers have no limit at all. The POTUS has limited powers but not Obama. He’s bypassed Congress so many times it’s not funny. How do you block someone who bypasses the rules? We need to vote Obama OUT in a landslide in November and that is NOT going to happen if it’s Mitt Romney going against him.

FReepers need to get involved locally.

Agreed that the best way to get a conservative elected to an office is to get a conservative to be a major-party (probably Republican) candidate for that office.

conservatives can not win by voting third-party - it's a throw-away vote that nets nothing.

The only throw-away vote is a vote for a nonconservative. If both major party's candidates fit that description, a third-party vote is the only option - and at least sends a message to the major parties.

So how much are they paying you?

So how much are Romney's people paying you to pimp a lying, left-wing, PRogressive Liberal on the Premier Conservative site on the web?

Just don’t forget that it’s a crime in Texas to participate in the political primary/caucus of two Parties. You have to choose.

For those of you who want to be Texas Republicans, here’s where to find your County Convention

http://convention.texasgop.org/counties

(If you’re in Senate District 25 and want Donna Campbell for your Texas Senator, let me know!)

Quite true. That is why I was a delegate to the Republican state convention in 2008 and to the Libertarian state convention in 2010. I reached my "fed up" moment a little sooner that most people on this thread.

I am in SD 7. I shared a stage with Dr. Donna at the Austin Tea Party in 2010 when I was running for governor and she for Lloyd Doggett's seat. She is a classy and dynamic lady. Tell her I said "hello."

Agree. We need to have another result like 2010 in Congress, or maybe even better.

Yeah that worked out well. The debt has gone up two trillion and they have stopped and\or repealed nothing.

To Hell with them!

THEY ALL MUST GO!

My feelings exactly... we can't win by voting third party... we can win by forcing PRESIDENT MITT that the CONSERVATIVES in the Senate and the HOUSE will not take BS from LIBERALS and they'll not PLAY NICE with THE MEDIA or with LIBERALS.

We need to get the TEA PARTY to fight, because we need to tell the liberals that America is the SHINING CITY ON THE HILL...and that it is a beacon for the OPPOSED people of theworld!!

LIBERALS (and that includes RINOS) if you want to RUIN a COUNTRY...go to NORTH KOREA... and ruin that country!!

I’ll say it yet again: I don’t expect obama to finish his term.

WHY do you expect this. Sorry, I have not seen your earlier statements, so am curious. Are you expecting an impeachment, Moochelle selling him out, something else?
