This Level Headed FReeper is *NOT* voting for Romney (VANITY)

Posted on 04/10/2012 6:20:28 PM PDT by Halfmanhalfamazing

With all of the chicanery that the GOP-E has done over the last year, and helped the media to do over the last year, there's NO WAY I'm surrendering to these creeps.

Romney is *NOT* our candidate! He's their candidate, we're NOT REPUBLICANS! We are conservatives and constitutionalists FIRST. We believe in small government! Not this big government crap that Romney has peddled for the better half of the last decade or two, and I certainly can't do any more nose holding at the ballot box.

Voting for a big government republican is the real world equivalent of cutting off my nose to spite my face. That I refuse to do.

Reforming the GOP into a small government conservative party doesn't just mean voting for the right tea partiers at the right time. It means refusing to vote for the wrong big government republicans at the wrong time. We need to starve the beast of votes. We need to teach the republican party that if they have any shot at electoral success in the future, they only have one viable path. Bold colors BOLD COLORS BOLD COLORS

Ha. The guy who posted the original thread where he said he was voting for Romney was not banned but the post was taken off and linked to Jim’s post stating he will not support Romney.

“...people must rally around the republican nominee I know it is hard but that is what you have to do.”

That is being subservient. You go right ahead and let a bunch of liberals tell you how to vote. I will not.

The Republican party does not own me. I DO NOT have to vote for their liberal candidate.

And I won’t.

FUBO!
FUMR!
FUGOP!

To all who wont vote for Mitt because he isn't the perfect candidate. Get this there isn't one, isn't gonna be one so get over it, be responsible and get Obama out!

He is the enemy if we split our vote they win!

I would say to you folks, its your fault we didn't get a more conservative in the primary. Stop blaming someone else, like the GOP establishment that is BS. Its your fault or more likely our fault, we have no one to blame except ourselves. We didn't do a good enough job up front. we didn't get out there enough and for not donating your time and money to get the right one in office.

Look at this as a long term incremental approach to gaining back the WH and Congress, you won't get it all at once.

Please prayerfully consider voting for Romney, write him, write your congressmen, get involved instead of ranting here and standing on your moral high ground.

Live to fight another day, vote to fight another day, if we loose this one we'll be so buried that it'll be next to impossible to dig out.

You might have missed the inside joke. Another poster posted that he was a level headed guy who will be voting Romney. Within 40 minutes the post was taken off and linked to a thread of Jim’s stating he won’t support Romney.

I’ll have you know some people thought he was a Obama guy because that poster was actively supporting Romney when he wasn’t conservative so Obama could win.

In real life you have to make choices, and though you might not like one choice, it is without a doubt the better choice. You feel that voting for Romney is just as bad as voting for Obama. You feel that Romney and Obama are one and the same.

It is clear that I made a mistake in even talking to you because I’d sooner have a saner conversation with a rabid cat.

Here's another certainty for you: in the next four years, Antonin Scalia and Anthony Kennedy will each turn 80 years old. If Obama gets to replace either one of them, a far left-wing Supreme Court

Neither would retire with Obama in office. But, they likely will if Romney is elected. And, if Romney decides to give us another David Souter, will have a left-wing Supreme Court.

I'd rather pray for the health of Scalia and Kennedy than trust Romney to replace either one.

Anyone here who refuses to vote for Romney...is allowing Obama to get a second term.......You are not principled, you are stupid..... In fact worse than that,.... you are essentially traitors to your country....grow up!

You are a son of a b*tch for daring to call anyone here who has a right and choice for whom they vote...and you're stepping on every man and woman who fought and died in giving us that right.

You have no right whatsoever to call anyone here a traitor....rather than shout your nastiness and unwarrented skunky breath here....go pimp Romney some other place...

What a discusting work of art you are for daring to speak as this....have you no shame whatsoever? The answer is obvious

“You feel that voting for Romney is just as bad as voting for Obama. You feel that Romney and Obama are one and the same.”

No. Their records demonstrate that they are both comparable malefactors, but I concede that Romney is better disciplined, harder working, smarter and more organized. His misdeeds will be shrewder, more subtle, more persistent and farther reaching.

Rejecting both of these vermin is the only correct choice. Unless, of course they represent your ideology.

Romneys record is clear on his appointments of liberal judges....he won’t be appointing conservatives so you’re arguement for voting for him has no weight...rather if you vote for Romney you are indeed supporting those liberals who he no doubt will appoint.....

I’m with you man. I despise Romney and can not support him or defend him. I’ve become interested in supporting the constitution party candidate. They have 6 good candidates vying for the nomination. I favor Dr. Laurie Roth and Virgil Goode the most.

“Please prayerfully consider voting for Romney”

I think most all of us have. Looking at his record I conclude that it is impossible to support him in any way. Romney is not a compromise. He is a capitulation to the worst of our national vices.

God will not bless the smoking tophet on the right anymore than he will bless the smoking tophet on the left. It is sin to go to either one. It really is that simple.

Grow up.

I agree with you 100% vindibudd, however you might not want to be too harsh, with these kinds of people they are kind of sensitive.

I would say if you are not for us you're against us. Whether or not you agree with the general you stand behind him.

Eventually you'll get the general you like. If we divide our votes they win, all the time they will win. We are fighting for our country folks its more serious than you standing for your future "perfect" candidate. Let me clue you in, nobody is perfect.

Nobody is going to make everyone in the conservative party happy. Now go and do the right thing...

What's this traitor business from member Vindibudd if we don't vote for Romney?

This candidate, this Romney, the inevitable GOP-E nominee, spent all $45 Million except a measly $2 Million savaging his top rivals! First Newt Gingrich and then Rick Santorum and now he wants unity and votes from conservatives, including us TEA Party, pro-life conservatives?

Those days of going long to get along because the GOP-E took us for granted are over. That Party ended in '08 when they blamed Governor Palin for moderate McCain's loss, knowing full well he was a lousy candidate who ran a horrid campaign, but at least McCain was pro-life and had served in our military.

I suggest "some" folks cool off for a few days and reconsider the language they're tossing around; "traitor" for example.

Establishment back stabbing has gone on as long as I can remember, and will continue until as long as conservatives allow it to.

“Establishment back stabbing has gone on as long as I can remember, and will continue until as long as conservatives allow it to.”

But it used to be slick. This is insultingly crass and obvious.

No sir/miss, not voting for Mitt Romney. Threaten me all you want- done the supporting the beltway blue-bloods for the last time. I will do a write in. There is no way Romney will get the base energized. The man is distrusted for his liberal polices in which he put into laws in Massachusetts. If people cannot see there is no longer a republican party for conservatives, you are still in a daze of denial. Romney will lose to Obama. The debates, Obama will make Mittens out to be the fraud that he is— don’t come back saying that we should have got behind Newt (it will be too late) We need to help Newt win more states so he has power at the convention before it’s too late.

Can’t vote for Obama or Romney. There will be someone else on the balot who will be a better president. Don’t know who.
