"If we would just convert these investments that we're making through out government in education, research and healthcare. If we just turn those into tax cuts, especially for the wealthy, then somehow the economy is going to grow stronger. That's the theory," President Obama said about the right at a campaign event on the tax code in Boca Raton, Florida today.

There is video of this yapping fool at the link
” Obama On Free Markets: “We Tried It. “
But we didn’t inhale....
I don’t see the presumed Republican nominee going around bashing capitalism....
We tried it? Free markets don’t have a minimum wage. Free markets don’t control when a family can have their kids work on their farm.
I almost want to vote for obama so I can watch him go down in flames. Sometimes evil must reach full fruition before everyone can see what it is.
Key word, “almost”.
Yapping fool alert.
Is it evil to sit out the process? At best Etch-A-Sketch better hope I remain neutral.
Totally the Marxist to the core.
I must be an exception, during the Bush years all 16 of them I had the best employment, the best wages, the best of times.
Before and especially AFTER everything has gone to shit.
Since Obama became ruler I am one step into bankruptcy.
What we tried is huge bailouts, a monstrous increase in debt, Fed money printing and more intervention by government. That's what didn't work. Virtually every government action on the economy inflicts another wound to it.
Is the thread title just a bit misleading?
‘Rich’ vs. poor. Black vs. white. Women vs. men. Greedy doctors vs. patients in need. The ‘1%’ vs. the ‘99%’. etc. etc.
This jerk is one of the most divisive people to ever have been given a soapbox in our society.
Obozo wouldn’t understand an economic principle if it bit him in the butt.
He’s talking gibberish! He hasn’t a clue as to what a free market is.
Yapping fool is right.
In November we are going to see just how stupid American voters may be. Absolutely no one with a pulse can say they didn’t know what they were getting this time.
The election shouldn’t even be close. This President has been an unmitigated disaster.
I can’t stand Mitt Romney, but no conservative should be doing anything but helping to defeat Obama.
Many people do not see evil until the gas is flowing into the chamber. That is why they get on the trains in the first place.
Relax, it’s just the delousing agent.
Capitalism and free markets are not perfect. Like any system they have their flaws. However, it is light years ahead of any other system/scheme. Consider the alternatives that seem to be near and dear to your heart.
Socialism? Yeah, look how well that turned out for the Soviet Union, or any other Country that has tried it. They've all collapsed or, gasp, had to incorporate elements of capitalism to keep their economies afloat.
Fascism? Yeah, look how well that turned out for the people of Germany in the 1930s and 40s. Only cost the world a few million lives to turn that one around.
So hussein, we need to do more than just "try" capitalism. You don't just play at it or dabble in it. You should try something new, try adopting capitalism. I realize that goes against your narcissistic and fascist desire for power and control but as history shows us, those don't work.
Uh... What a lying douch nozzle.
Yes, we tried it. For the first 150 years of our existence as a Country. It took us from a backwater colony to a world superpower faster than ever recorded in human history.
We’ve been busy the last 70 yard dismantling that free market. The dregs of what is left is still powerful enough to give the lie to every Socialist pronouncement that falls from their lips....
