Since his inauguration BHO has inculcated a cult of personality to institute by way of force of will unconstitutional czars and other regulations by fiat.

Federal regulations and contracting are supposed to be based on the law, and I do not recall anywhere in the Federal Register where micro-management of contracting is solely reliant on the President’s or his administration’s prerogative.

To assume that he has this right is to adopt a view of President as dictator, a view worthy of any third-world banana republic. And I do not think this is correct to adopt this attitude under our system of government.

To paraphrase Ayn Rand, the aristocracy of “merit” is being replaced by the aristocracy of “pull.”
