How how can a fair jury ever be selected in this case, after the MSM has so tainted the jury pool with its lies, distortions, and omissions of the facts from the presentation of this story?
There is no chance that any verdict can be rendered by a jury, at this point, that will not be seen as "racist."
George Zimmerman and his family will have to pray that whatever jury is enpanelled, it has a few "white Hispanics" (copyright, New York Times) on it.

Serious mistakes have been made by Zimmerman. When you are facing charges like this you have “NO Advocates” except for your Attorneys. Not the police, not the media, and not even nicely dressed conservative talk show host with great hair, and definantly not those reading your comments on your new web site. Talk To Nobody without your attorneys present. Too many people think the Miranda Rights are meant for the guilty. That is dead wrong.

Our burglaries are up 20% plus from previous year, and the prognosis is very dreary looking forward.
Non violent offenders are to be jailed in local county or municipal jails. A person caught committing a burglary gets no more than two weeks behind bars now. If it’s a non-violent crime, the crooks can do as they please while the populace continues to be victimized.

I hope Zimmerman drags it out well past the election. With his arrest BO lost the opportunity to whip up a race war with this event. As long as it’s pending the black pampers don’t have anything.
I thought this would happen when she announced she would dispense with the grand jury.
She didn’t want to risk the grand jury NOT indicting him.
Even though there are no facts reported in any of the news reports that would amount to probable cause justifying an arrest and trial, the politicians clearly want a public trial where all of the evidence can be brought out in public and debated like the Casey Anthony trial, and either a lynch mob jury will convict Zimmerman or after a full airing of the evidence he will be exonerated. In either case, the politicians will have been able to wash their hands of it and perhaps avoid race riots altogether.
The trial is solely a result of the MSM bias. If the MSM had not distorted and lied in order to fit the narrative of racist white man shooting down innocent young black boy because he wore a hooded sweatshirt, then Zimmerman would not be risking a lifetime behind bars for shooting a guy that was beating his head into the concrete sidewalk.
When you read the WAPOST piece, it doesn’t say he is definitely going to be charged, it says that a decision has been made WHETHER to CHARGE, and that decision (whatever it may be) will be announced this evening. Am I reading this wrong? Is this a huge overreaction?
There may well be civil disturbances if he is found guilty and not summarily executed. There may even be problems this weekend. Any excuse for folks to go "shopping."
I think the Hispanics may burn and loot over this travesty.
Just my guess he will be charged with using excessive force in the altercation, but that none of the nonsense about hunting or attacking Martin will be included.
I think the issue of firing and killing Martin in self defense is a close call under the reported facts.
Zimmerman had gotten off the concrete and into the grass. Police were on the way. Zimmerman claim Martin threatened his life is a wild card, because Zimmerman was able to reach and fire his pistol, indicating he was not completely overpowered.
But I wasn’t there.
Just another excuse to put a Hispanic in jail.
I’d charge Voluntary and Involuntary.
One- The physical evidence, the eye witness evidence, the tapes, the time line all support Mr. Zimmerman’s claim of self-defense and this will be more an more apparent as time goes on. (If there was evidence contradicting Mr. Zimmerman’s story he would have been arrested right at the beginning or it would certainly have been leaked by now.
Two- Despite enormous outside pressure from media and the demonstrators(lynch mob) outside the courthouse, they will not get 12 people to totally ignore the evidence and convict.
Three- The failure to convict along with the media and the race baiters throwing gas on the fire, will result in a dozen riots in major cities as bad as or worse than the LA Rodney King riots.
Four-This cowardly dishonest prosecutor’s actions will be directly responsible for a massive arson destruction and 100+ deaths in those riots.
BONUS Prediction- The Asian and Middle Eastern inner city business owners will be fully armed and will defend their business with lethal force. To protect their neighborhoods, Militia like groups of armed citizens will confront the rioters
There was an eye witness who saw the entire thing go down, he said he saw Trayvon on TOP of Zimmerman..he was interviewed THAT NIGHT..not days later, the night of the incident, this is an open and shut case..blown out of proportion by the media so they can distract the public from Obama’s FAILURE as a President and as a human being. This is disgusting, self defense is used every single day but the left saw this as an opportunity to draw out the black voters needed in Florida to win..if Florida were NOT a swing state they wouldn’t give a damn

There is an equal amount of evidence to say that the attack on Zimmerman was a hate crime. Zimmerman is Latino and was attacked because of his race.

Yes, that is the obvious action. However, if non public forensic evidence counters Zimmerman’s statements and account, then he has a problem.
It depends on where they put him and if he is allowed to bond out. But he needs a lawyer with some serious mojo at this point.
One thing for sure is that if charges are announced and he hasn’t already been taken in, arraigned, bonded out in secret and then again moved to a secret location, the NBP bounty puts him in even more serious danger.
Bounty hunters haven’t bothered yet because there are no charges and no arrest warrant. Once there is, there will be a mad scramble.
I also have no reason to believe that WAPO has an inside line into what is really going on. They could just be making stuff up to get hits to sell ad space in order to generate revenue.
