Mayor Bloomberg is launching a campaign to overturn "stand your ground" laws around the nation, such as the one in Florida that led to the controversial shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
Bloomberg has scheduled a press conference this afternoon in Washington with the Rev. Al Sharpton, the NAACP, the National Urban League and other groups to announce the initiative...

If Bloomberg and his cronies can’t change politics and public opinion in forthright ways to end or neutralize the 2nd Amendment, make no mistake that long time anti-gun zealots like the ADL and others of the elite will make greater efforts intended to buy off the NRA or change public opinion, and false flags are not out of the question.
Realistically would multi billionaires prefer a country that was full of average income gun toting liberty seeking Americans, or a country that had every citizen neutered and hamstrung by a powerful controlling government?
Mayor Bloomberg is the number one reason I refused to vote for Bill Haslam -R for governor of Tennessee even in the general election. His mayors against guns program is far reaching even within the GOP. Haslam as mayor of Knoxville was a member. Write down names and never, ever, support such tyrants with a vote.

Bloomerburg needs to worry about NYC.
He had such a bad habit of running his mouth regarding the affairs of other states, and not minding his own damn business.
Did he ever find a SINGLE bomb placed by the “overweight middle aged white tea party member” he blamed the Times Square bombing on?
What a fat-ass-cat politician. How does this idiot remain in office?
Didn’t yellow dog democrats oppose him after he called himself a Republican?
Brave words from a billionaire politician who travels in armored SUV motorcades, surrounded by a phalanx of bodyguards armed with subguns and combat carbines.
I have my doubts about it. People will still defend their property no matter what is going on in FL.
Look for Americans to hide their guns, make no doubt about it.
Even a rabbit will defend itself.. ask James Earl.
Of all the dumb things Pataki ever did, talking this clown into running for mayor may be the worst
When accosted by thugs and gangsters, just let them beat/murder you.
We wouldn’t want them to get hurt.
Now pay your taxes, we need raises. :)
Which why he's now being charged with 2nd degree murder. Can't look crosswise at some people, if you do, and they attack you, it's your fault and you are not allowed to defend yourself.
SMDH.
Thanks for the ping!
Sorry, with Obama and his racist pals creating the great race war, we are not giving up any gun rights.
He doesn't need their consent to sign it. But it has no force in US law, until the Senate, you know those Dems and Rinos, approve it. If he signs it, we're screwed, AFAIK, a later Senate can't undo their permission. Reid would probably call the Senate into a lame duck session, assuming there isn't one for other purposes, just to approve the treaty. Romney would of course enforce the provisions of the treaty.
But if it is signed and approved even Claire Wolfe would likely agree, it's no longer that awkward time.
.bammys little thug army can’t do it’s job for him and the Left with theses laws in place.
F U Bloomturd, You are an Ass. Boycott New York City for giving us this disgrace. We are going to take 1 questionable case and throw out an entire set of laws. This clowns Police Dept is monitoring people in another state for Christ sake!!
And how does dear Mr. Seifman (the reporter) know that George Zimmerman was actually standing when he shot Trayvon Martin?
I hate Bloomberg. He just cannot resist encroaching on our rights. (That’s right, I said it!)
2nd Amendment-grabbing Nanny State PING!
Yep. I don't think it's too far off.
